Introduction
In the below report is mainly focuses on the issues or external factors that
would influence the future performance of a company are explained. Measuring
Future performance is a important aspect for the business organization which is
influenced by the present taken decisions (Boswell, Olson‐Buchanan and Harris, 2018).
Employee performance refers to the methods employed by the employee or worker
of a company to perform operation in effective and efficient manner. Employee
performance analysis helps manager to track the individual's performance and also
helps to analyses deviations in their performance. People performance management
also facilitate the effective communication between the employee and management
which reduce the risk of future conflicts among them. In this report company Crystal
Travel is taken into consideration, it is a local travel agency which is situated in the
London. It is a small organization and it need to improve its future performance for
expansion purpose. This report include various tools and techniques that will help
firm to enhance its future performance. This case study include the role of employee
and overall staff in the improvement of organizational performance. There are
various factors available in the business environment which influence the working of

The performance management is an essential tool or method which enhance
the future performance of the company and individuals. It is a continuous process of
communication between the employee and management which take place
throughout the year (Burke and Richardsen, 2019). It is a very important tool that
applied in the firm to analyze individual performance of employees and help to find
out deviations in their performance. It provide clear view about the areas where firm
is lacking behind. It also provide measure to the management to overcome from
deviations. There are various tools and techniques are explained which help Crystal
Travel to enhance its performance:

Key performance indicators(KPI's): It is a tool or process that evaluate the
success of the company over a set of objectives or goals. It mainly focus on
how efficiently a firm is meeting key organizational objectives. High KPI's
analyses the working of various departments like sales, marketing or HR etc.
This indicator helps Crystal Travel to make efficient decisions by analysing the
performance of the company.
360-degree feedback: It is a process in which employee of a firm get
confidential, anonymous feedback from the employees who work close to
them. In this method ten to twelve employee fill out an online feedback from in
which they answer the predetermined question which cover a wide range of
workplace competencies (De Beer, Pienaar and Rothmann Jr, 2019). It provide
opportunity for every employee to receive feedback of their performance from
their supervisors or manager and reporting staff. Crystal Travel use this
method to evaluate each and every employee's performance and giving them
feedback according to their performance. It improve the quality of working of
employee by describing the areas where they are lacking or making mistakes.
Personal developing plan: Personal development plan is a kind of self
motivation and self appraisal that is basically used in higher education and the
enterprise. It is an authorized record of company's employee's strength and
the strengths which they need to evolve. It is an inspiration and motivation for
the employees and it provide opportunities for them. These plan help
employee's to polishing their skills, strengths and knowledge. Crystal Travel
consider this plan in order to evolving the skills of their employee's. It is a self
development plan that also helpful for the company to meeting new skills and
better performance of the employees. This plan save time and resources of
the company and encourage positive growth of the firm as well as individuals.
If new skills are achieved from this plan that it may decrease the outsourcing
cost as well as improve the value of the firm in the marketplace.
Performance appraisal: IT refers to the continuous revaluation of an
employee's activity performance and its overall contribution for an specific
task or activity. Performance appraisal technique is also called as annual
review, performance evaluation method which helps management to evaluate
employee's ability, accomplishment and development. This technique provide

towards its goals. Rewarding employee motivate them to work with their full

when there is requirement. It will fuel the growth of the company.
Develop the quantity of employee engagement: Higher employee engagement
promote retention of skills, increase employee loyalty and it would enhance firms
performance and stakeholders value. It make company goal more transparent among
the employees. In context of Crystal Travels, the employee engagement helps
workers to work according to the organizational goal or objectives. It will help
organization to achieve its goal more effectively and efficiently (Raja and et.al.,
2020).
Create competition: Employee well being would increase the efficiency of the
employee so they may save the time of the firm by performing well. It create

other policies which may increase the cost of operations of the firm. Hike in
fuel prices will increase the traveling cost of people which decrease the
revenue of the firm. There are some policies related to the worker
remuneration, labor working hours which affect the operations of the firm.
Economical factor: There are various factors available in the economy which
influence the Crystal Travels business. Economic factors like inflation rates,
exchange rates, currency value, unemployment etc are affect the business
