which will help us create stunning projects in the future. The jump and run game will
require animations and creation of actions by which the player can control the game
character, all this will help to learn UX-UI designing.
1.3 Description
The game is a simple jump n run game where you need to control the main character in
order to defend him from the incoming obstacles. The obstacles are some evil enemies
who want to kill the main character. The enemies have also placed objects like metal
boxes and blades in the way of the main character so that it gets difficult for him to
make his way out.
You are provided with a home page of the application where you are provided with
options to start the game or open the instructions if you want to get a few basic details
about scoring and how the character is controlled. The home page has a cool artwork
which is supported by a matching background audio track which justifies the theme
selected for the game.
The game begins as soon as you click the play button and the character starts running.
You are then in-charge of controlling him so that he can move past the incoming
obstacles. You need to dodge the incoming traps laid by enemies in order to score the
maximum points and escape the enemy lair. The game features a fast-paced
videogame themed music which makes the experience even more thrilling. The user
will be pressing the space-bar to make the character jump. Avoiding each obstacle will
award him 10 points and the game ends if the player is unsuccessful in avoiding any
obstacle in his way. You are then provided the details about your score and an option
to restart the game if you wish to play again and score even better.
1.4 Key Features
Energetic music keeps the game engaging and gives the player a sense of
enthusiasm for playing the game even more to achieve a better score.
Running animation for the character distinguishes from the other products
where the character’s motion is not clearly visible.
Consistent theme for all the pages of the game make the UI attractive and
unique.
1.5 Genre
The game would fit in the “adventure” game category as the game takes the player
through a series of fantasy creatures, places and objects. The game is quite engaging
and keeps the player motivated to score better with its intense fast-paced music.
