1 Concept Paper
1.1 Introduction
In this report, we are going to build a Jump & run game which will be developed on the Google
web designer platform with the use of animation and creativity. This will attract various age
group people as it is challenging to play this game. The basic overview of this game is that the
user will have to jump with the use of the space bar as soon as the user sees an obstacle coming
it's way. The character in this game is Pikachu and it will dodge various obstacles coming its
way and with each successful jump, an addition in the overall score will be made which makes
this game more fun to play.
1.2 Background
The main character of the game is Pikachu and the user will be able to jump the
character with the use of the space bar. For each successful jump, the user will be
awarded +1 point on the scoreboard. There are a total of 4 pages namely – home page,
game page, help page and the credits page. This game has two obstacles which the user
will be dodging to score more on the board. With the help of the Google web designer,
the design of the overall game will be done in such a way that the user experience is
enhanced and made fun to play. This is a really competitive game as the score of the user
will increase with every successful jump and in turn, will make the user challenge
themselves and beat their own high score.

1.3 Description
Pikachu will be the character with which the user will be playing and jumping around to
score more on the scoreboard. With every successful jump and increment in the overall
score will be done and the user will, in turn, be able to challenge himself/herself again
and again. First, the user will start the game and they will get redirected to the home
page which is made attractive so that user starts playing the game. Once the user clicks
start button, he/she will be redirected to the game page where the actual game will begin.
Now, the user will play the game with the help of the space bar and with every
successful jump the user will be awarded +1 point. If at any time in the game the user
thinks or face a problem with the gameplay he/she can click the help button which will
redirect them to the help page which will solve their problem instantly. While playing if
the user gets out then he/she will be redirected to the credits page or say game over the
page where all the credits for the artwork used in the game are written and also a button
to start the game again via the home page.

1.4 Key Features
There are various features in this game which are as follows:
The feature of score adding up with every successful jump is something which
will make the game more interesting and more competitive to play. Once the user
gets out and scores highly, then the user can start again and finally challenge the
self-high score.
When the obstacles are coming and the user will be able to jump using the
spacebar, this is also a great feature which makes the game stand out from the
group of other games as well.
To make the game more lively, two obstacles are added which will be coming in
the way randomly and then for every jump the score will get added up. This is
also a great feature.
Music is something that makes everything fun. So adding the right music at the
right place and situation gives the game a lively look.
1.5 Genre
The genre of this game which is based on the Pikachu as the character is of the
adventure genre.
1.6 Target Audience
The audience which will be targeted for this game will have an age group of 10 and above. The
main motive behind this game is to make the age group of 10+ children as well as adult play this
game. This game is perfectly fine for the children below the age of 18 as it contains no harmful
content that can majorly affect the children’s mind.

1.7 Concept Map
It is a very basic game with great overall user experience and a good gameplay. First, the
user will start the game and they will get redirected to the home page which is made

1.9 Market Analysis
This is an adventure game where the user will play as the character named Pikachu. As
we know that the target audience for this game is 10 and above so the market analysis
gave us proof that the game will be liked by these age groups. Other games are also in the
market which is similar to this game but the character liking and the overall user
experience makes it stand apart from the crowd and will, in turn, gather attraction for this
jump and run game. It is fully competitive and will make the user play it more with the
scoreboard feature added. The music and all the other artwork will increase the market
growth of the game.
