Background of the study
Corporate social responsibility is an important concept in which companies of all sectors
integrate social and environmental concerns in their business operations (Adnan, Hay and van
Staden, 2018). Corporate social responsibility has several positive impacts as it helps companies
in improving image in the market and in the eyes of customers. Marketing also plays a vital role
in improving productivity and performance of organization. It makes companies able in
gathering information knowing market trends on which basis customers’ needs can be satisfied.

“To identify effectiveness of corporate social responsibility and principles of marketing
in digital world”.
Objectives
To discuss the main concept of corporate social responsibility.
To analyses impacts of corporate social responsibility on performance of Arcadia Group.
To evaluate effectiveness of principles of marketing in improving productivity of Arcadia
Group.
Research questions
What is the main concept of CSR?
How CSR can improve performance and productivity of Arcadia group?
How marketing function can help Arcadia Group in increasing sales and productivity?
Limitations of the study
Lack of financial resources was the main limitation. Due to some external environmental
factors such as covid-19 it delayed in the submission of the project. But with the help of skilled
workforces qualitative report developed.

METHODOLOGY
Research type: Qualitative and quantitative are 2 types and this study will select qualitative
or gather non-numerical data.
Research philosophy: Interpretivism and positivism are main 2 approaches and for this
study interpretivism will be used.
Research approach: Inductive and deductive are 2 approaches and for this inductive
approach will be used (Woiceshyn and Daellenbach, 2018).
Data collection: Primary and secondary are 2 data collection. For this secondary data will
be gathered (Johnston, 2017).
Sample: For this study 30 employees of Arcadia Group will be selected for gathering data.
