Corporate social responsibility is broader concept for changing polices and practices of
business work and society. It is effective process of world as it helps the society in following
environmental friendly policies and practices (Rao and Dhawan, 2017). It is the approach which
helps the firm in developing strong relationship with its stakeholders. Further, it is termed as
effective because it focuses on enabling chance of improvement to every person in this world.
Apart from this, CSR is used by every business enterprise as it helps in mitigating risk as it
provides corporate governance framework which helps in managing successful business
operations. Implementing practices of CSR aid in every individual in world in performing
ethically (Tashman, Marano and Kostova, 2017). Thus, it is the most effective approach for
managing respect and interest of people as it enable equal working opportunities and living with
dignity.
CSR is ineffective at improving the word
Concept of corporate social responsibility offers effective practices but on other hand, it
is considered as ineffective because the practices of CSR leads to conflict between managing and
division of goals and objectives. Further, it dis balances the functions of workplace between the
lines of centralisation and decentralisation (Price and Sun, 2017). Moreover, the multi division of
work which is enables by CSR is a cost process and sometimes leads to lack of stakeholders
involvement in interest of activities. Moreover, the practices of it leads to lack of coordination
and cooperation is word because as it provides own way of managing work and duties (Jamali,
Lund-Thomsen and Khara, 2017). It is long term process therefore lacks changes and dynamics
in functions and interest of people in world.
