Business ethics can be explained as study of business activities, decisions and situations
in which issues related to what is right and wrong is addresses respectively. Ethics are important
to carry out in an organization because it aid in satisfying human demands, honest and being fair
which leads to create good image in the market. This essay is based on Jaguar cars which was
established by Jaguar Land Rover. It is British multinational car whose headquarter is in
Whitley, Coventry, England. The motive of essay is to examine why ethics and corporate social
responsibility is necessary for an business associates in order to handle sustainably, responsible
and behave ethically in relation to economic, environmental, social and cultural issues came
cross in the society. Additionally, Corporate Social Responsibility on leadership in an firm at
global environment will be involved in this essay (Askariazad and Babakhani, 2015).
ESSAY
Corporate Social Responsibility can be stated as voluntary activities which are
undertaken by business associates in order to operate in social, environmental, cultural and
economical sustainable manner. It is important to carry out CSR activities by business associates
so that community or societies living standards can be raised accordingly. By doing Corporate
Social activities Jaguar will be benefited to a large scale such as, better brand recognition,
operational costs savings, better financial performance, easier access to capital etc. For Jaguar
Corporate social Responsibility is essential at global level so that more and more loyal and
trustworthy customers can be pulled towards the firm. Moreover, ethics in organization plays a
vital role in sustainability of an business associates in the cut throat competitive world (vom and
Schmiedel, 2016).
Ethics carried out in business aid organization in future growth of dealership and
automotive professionals in the competitive world. In order to bind loyal customers for longer
time duration Jaguar ensures its consumers that the product which is offered to them are of best
quality and will be satisfying their emerging needs. The main reason behind their quality product
is following of law and ethics as well as respecting human efforts and not forcing its employees
to work under inhumane conditions. By adopting global ethics principles in Jaguar it directly or
indirectly ensures that manufacturing involved in the production of luxury sports cars in the cut
throat competitive world (Bell and Harley, 2018).

In the 21st century ethics and CSR(Corporate Social Responsibility) plays a significant
role in firms growth and sustainability at global environment in the market place. Automotive
company Jaguar is operating its car in distinguished nations due to which high market share has
been captured in the global market. Suppliers, employees, distributors, intermediaries etc. are
macro factors which directly or indirectly are involved in the process of carrying out their
business functions ethically and sustainability in the competitive world. The top level
management should design out certain policies and norms as per their nations conditions so that
smooth functioning of the business activities can be carried out. Moreover, there must be
complete control on it's staff members, distributors and suppliers so that no unknown internal
scam is happening over firms operational or production activities. In order to adhere the policies
and norms effective management is needed in order to monitor and control over staff members
activities like, rechecking of the material supplied by the supplier and matching it with the order
list accordingly. By doing so all this aspects directly or indirectly enrich internal structure of
business associates in the market (Constantiou and Kallinikos, 2015).
Organization adhere these norms aid in the process of management of firm's activities as
well as share hands in eliminating negative impact of the factors like, culture, environmental,
social and economic. Additionally, organization having effective tactics for corporate social
responsibility create positive influence on purchasing power of customers as well as accordingly
guide the working style of staff members in the market. However, many buyers are ready to pay
more for luxury cars if they are aware about that a large share of profits is going to worthy case.
In the competitive world Jaguar which deals in luxury sports cars came across several issues due
to the existence of macro factors like, culture, environmental, economical and social. For
example: 80-90% is the environmental impact in automotive industry due to greenhouse gases
and emission of air pollution which raising global warming worldwide. Additionally, economic
impact despite as a serious problem with low profitability. So, business growth and development
is highly affected by social, environmental, cultural, and economical issues in the cut throat
competitive world. In United Kingdom Jaguar has large number of operations at wider scale due
to which country is economical stable in terms of revenue (Lieder and Rashid, 2016). Also, it
facilitates the management of Jaguar to effectively and efficiently follow the ethical, social and
environmental norms.

2015). In today's competitive world, CSR (corporate social responsibility) plays a immense
crucial role for community as well as for business associates because it involves taxation,
working conditions an environmental issues. Jaguar is benefited by adopting ethics and corporate
responsibility as aid in creating leadership in the marketplace. By doing so, it directly or
indirectly assist the organization in raising goodwill and market value across the nation.
Moreover, a effective or a strong leader can assist an company to achieve desired goals and also,
enriched productivity at a tremendous scale.

From the above essay it can be concluded that ethics and corporate social responsibility
plays a significant role in the business success in the market place. More, it directly or indirectly
eliminates cultural, social, economical and environmental issues due to which growth and
sustainability is possible in the cut throat competitive world. Business associates should follow

community or society as well as develop good leadership in the market place.
