INTRODUCTION
Business Communication is the system or process which helps the company to
share information with the internal and external people outside the company. There
must be effective business communication which helps the company to achieve the
organizational goals. This report will outline the sustainable approach to business
strategy and management evidencing by example of strategies that organizations used
to operate in ethical way. Further it will analyse the different approaches to CSR of three
companies that are Hayward Tyler, Cisco and Hyperlink Info System and measuring
success in their CSR strategies. This report will also outline the reflective report on the
key skill development in three areas that are communication including both verbal and
non-verbal, problem solving evidencing with examples and information and working with
others.

Explaining the sustainable approach to business strategy and management-evidencing
by examples of strategies that business used to operate in ethical and sustainable
way
Sustainable business strategy is the strategy which helps and support the
transformation of the unsustainable company from the sustainable company (Lee and
Lee, 2019). This business approach is used to create the long-term value by taking into
the consideration that how organization operates in the economic, social and ecological
environment.
Hayward Tyler organization- Hayward Tyler is the top company in the
performance-critical pumps and motors for making the global energy industry, for
meeting the most demanding and needed applications. In the year 2015 the
organization completed the acquisition of the trading and assets of the Peter
Brotherhood business. In order to maintain the sustainability and focus on opportunities
in the growing market, the organization focus on maximizing efficiency, aligning capacity
to demand and boosting the productivity (Mosca and Civera, 2017). The sustainable
approach to business strategy used by the company is appraising of the environment by
maintaining the ecological, social and economic environment. It is the foremost thing for
every company to focus on the external environment. The company focuses on the

having its headquarters in San Jose, California. The organization develops,
manufactures and sells the hardware, telecommunication equipment and other products
and services related to high-technology. The Cisco business strategy is the acquisition
strategy which has objectives of adding and implementing the new technologies and
models to the business. The management of the company is very great as it used to
provide the new and innovative products to their customers. The main purpose of the
company is to inspire the change in the competitive market which attracts the customers
in order to maintain the loyalty. Dedication towards the innovation makes the
organization to grow and maintain the sustainability of market leadership. The
organization has the multiple strategies in order to survive in the global market
(Peasland and et.al., 2019). Corporate development plays a very crucial role to increase
the strategy of doing innovation for the future growth. The company by innovating the
new technologies can easily operate in sustainable and ethical way. For example, the
company can increase its profitability by marinating the customer relationships and
differentiating products which makes the customers to use new and innovative
technology. The management of the organization is good as it helps in maximizing
efficiencies in managing the operations and support the advanced networks. Cisco
management is very needed in order to mange the different IT devices which are
present across the globe. There are many factors which ensures the maximum
efficiency of the Cisco infrastructure includes the availability, performance and utilization

sustainable way.
Hyperlink Info system organization- Hyperlink Info System is the mobile app
development company and one of the best IT software provider which is based in New
York, USA and India. This organization is used to introduce the most innovative and eye
catching mobile apps and different websites. It makes the customers to have a
customized service in the mobile apps and websites. The skills and talented team helps
the organization to have the good management which makes the company to grow in
the competitive market. The aim of the company is to provide good services without
compromising on the time and quality. Organization is used to develop the great apps
and websites which are the vital part in order to survive in the market. There are
different business strategies used by the company are platform development which
helps business to develop an app or strategy that should be used on the android
platforms (Sabariego Puig and et.al., 2020). Another strategy is monitoring the
performance that means the company should monitor the app after launching the new
app and websites. It makes them to sure about the new app introduced by them in order
to have the good earning from that app. The organization can use different marketing
strategies to know about their new apps and websites in the market. For example, if the
company has launched new app than company must check its utility that it is usable for
the customers or not, if it is not necessary than company should remove that app. The
app introduces by the company should be secure and safe for the customers as it

that enhance the external environment and society, by contributing in positive way. By
thus business can enhance their brand image in the competitive market and society.

forward by eliminating confusions and by enhancing our commitment to the values. It is

Reflective report on key skill development
Skills development is the process of identifying the gaps and developing and
enhancing those skills. It is important for the person to develop their skills and achieve
the success in their field (What is Personal Development, 2021). Its is ability to plan the
goal, manage the goal, communicate with others and work on that goal in order to
achieve and get success in their plan.
From the learning experience from Week 6, documented by journal entries in
BREO, I have analysed that the development skills are very required in order to achieve
the success. As everyone has some skills that must be strong or weak. My
communication skills were not good but I have improved by this skill by learning from
the Week 6. These skills are required in order to create a good and healthy environment
(Khan and et.al., 2017). I get an opportunity to develop my communication skills not by
just theoretically but also by applying those skills using in real life environment. My
learning makes me aware of the importance of the interpersonal and communication
skills which are very important in the real and practical life situations. The things I
learned from this skill is that how to handle the conflict and how to maintain good
communication with the people. This makes my way to look and communicate with the
people in positive way. This learning also taught me that think about the other
perspective and not being selfish by just thinking about ourselves only.
As I was very shy in order to communicate with the new people and strangers, so
this learning makes me learn that how to communicate with the strangers and how to
start the conversation with them. This learning makes my both verbal and written
communication better which makes me to easily communicate with the people.
Speaking in front of the public was my weakness but this learning improved my fear of
speaking in the public. In order to be a good communicator, I have learned the verbal
process from sender to reliever and also learn to develop my confidence and clarity,
listen carefully what the receiver is saying and read the fact effectively (Herrero and
Lorenzo, 2020). This makes me to analyse the problem of the receiver and makes me
resolve that problem by having proper communication with them.

The VARK model of learning style evaluates the four types of learners that are
visual, aural, read/write and kinesthetic. This makes the students to learn best in their
learning style, strengths and grew in the external market (Overview of VARK Learning
Styles, 2021). It is important model as it helps to make the strategies in order to
implement the best plan and increase the learning style. The above result shows that I
have to be more focus on the visual and writing things. Whereas I am good at my aural
learning and kinesthetic learning which means that I am good at carrying out the
physical activities rather than listening or watching the videos and lectures.
Further from more evaluating my learning outcomes from Week 6, I have realized
that I have improved my problem solving skills. In order to solve the problem the main
this is to identify the existing problem, develop the plan of action, execute that plan and
then re-evaluating the chosen set of action (Psycharis and Kallia, 2017). This process
makes my problem solving skills better in this learning. Problem solving is very crucial
because without learning this skill the person will never use to measure its success. I
have used my communication skills in order to cope up and resolve the problems and
conflicts arising. This learning outcome makes my understanding better in the problem
solving process and makes me think from the new perspective in order to resolve the
problem. Management problem solving skill has grown my mind in order to focus on the
academic, personal, social and work-based context. This skill helps me to identify and
exploit the opportunities in the external environment and makes me know how to
manage the in the future. Problem solving process is the important part for the person
as different person has its different problem and different solutions to that problem. Until

I have not learned about this skill it creates a problem in order to manage my problems
and makes my mind confuse in order to adopt the first solution that comes in my mind. I
used to break the problems into the sub-problems which makes easier to think on the
sub-problems. By this it reduces the complex problem easier and simple to understand
(Pogatsnik, Gergely and Zoltán, 2019). This skill will help to me resolve the problems
arising in the business organization. Facing the new problems was like entering into the
new planet, as it was so difficult to handle the problems. But by learning this unit it
improves my problem solving skills and makes me successful in the future problems.
Moreover I have learned about that how to work with others and work in the
team. Working with others makes the person more innovative and creative in their work
(Ritter and et.al., 2018). This makes the person to manage the work easily and have the
coordination while working with others. By understanding the nine Belbin team roles it
makes me easy to learn this skill. This theory says that the in order to work with others
or in a team the team must have the nine roles in order to mange the work. By using
Belbin team role I used to find out my strengths and weaknesses and I have overcome
from that weakness in this learning session. The roles include in this model is resource
investigator, team-worker, co-ordinator, plant, Monitor evaluator, specialist, shaper,
implementer and complete finisher (The Nine Belbin Team Roles, 2021). The role of
team-worker out of these nine role helps me work with others by identifying the specific
work and complete that work on the behalf of the company. It makes me to cooperate
and listen others while working as a team. As in the business the team-work is very
necessary otherwise it will lead to ambiguity in the organizations. By learning from this
theory it makes me to learn that how to co-ordinate with others when we are working in
the team.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is summarized the sustainable approach to business
strategy and management evidencing by example of strategies that organizations used
to operate in ethical way. Further it has described the different approaches to CSR of
three companies that are Hayward Tyler, Cisco and Hyperlink Info System and
