Introduction
In this report several types of challenges are to be analyzed that are being tackled by the
CST that is essential to be recognized in accordance to be responsible for the various solutions of
issues or problems in an effective and efficient way. The key purpose of this report is to find the
gaps that are acutually faced by the company which comprises decrements in the retaining of
employees, resignation of main professionals, advancement of technology are not displaying the
better improvement and it is generating gap in abilities of the CST. The effective skills of
communication is needed which is different from other to be accepted by the company as to
improve various skills in an efficient and effective manner.
There are major issues or problems that are needed to be discussed upon in this report. It
will assist in supervising the differences in a proper way. Moreover, the use of the different
strategic management approaches is needed to be analyzed in a proper way that can be suggested
to the CST in addressing key problems and issues efficiently and effectively and this will helps
in handling the various types of risk successfully. Last of all, there are various options which can
be provided to improve the situation in CST and avail more reasonable benefit (World economic
forum, 2019).
Background
CST is the multinational communication software and system developer which helps to
serve the defense with industries of emergency services. Moreover this company has various
offices in Australia, the United States, South Korea, New Zealand and India. In 2008, the
company was created by the engineers who have the strong background in the electrical or
control engineering (Consyst Technologies, 2018). According to the observance, the company
faced various problems or issues like loss of big tenders to various rivals and market share of
company was decreased in last two years that was not good for this company.
Moreover, this was observed and analyzed that company was not effective in various
types of the projects that was completed by them. It has impact on its share of market in an
ineffective way. There are various product and services that are offered by the CST which
comprises the different instrumentation, sensors, engineer systems and control panels. In addition

to this, there are various other services which are provided by the CST to its customers that
comprise operation with maintenance, instrumental design of a system, choosing of an
instrument and termination as well as cabling (Ashkanasy, Et al, 2016).
Lastly, the different types of problems or issues were there that led to low rate of
retention between the various staffs in the company and it has headed to the various types of
issues or problems not in effective way. This has been seen that there is registration of various
main specialists and it has impacted the complete image of the company in a negative way.
There were various types of technological advancements issues in an ineffective manner that was
not completely suitable in nature and it has impacted the complete reputation of CST
ineffectively (Heding, Et al, 2015).
Ensure CST is well positioned for future by attracting and retaining the best talent possible
The future of inviting and holding the best talent is changing. With the new improvements in
engagement of employees, the gig economy and the growth of millennials and Z generation in
the staff, CST is adapting its methods to attract and retain the best employees:
Attract talent by its tribal culture
CST attract talent by its tribal culture as they think that tribal leaders are the talent magnets
so that corporate performance of the CST will improved from productivity to the profitability
and reduce the risks involved in the issues that affect the reputation of the company in a negative
way so they attract talent from tribal culture who are keen to work for the leader which he will
take a pay cut if required.
Forget capabilities: Appoint character, potential and train for the skill
The CST has potential or the ability to adapt and develop into the increasingly difficult roles
and environments. They motivate their employees, know their curiosity for the projects and
engage their employees in right task so that their skills increased and eradicate the problems or
issues of low retention of employees. They give highest priority to those employee who are hired
for potential and successfully retaining and rising those who have it.
