INTRODUCTION
Diversity in the working premises can not be build in a day. Management need to plan
before hand to introduce diversity at the workplace and to convince staff members for this
change (Kamales, 2019). In the era of dynamic environment to remain competitive it is very
essential to introduce diversity. When distinguish people with numerous background work under
one roof for the attainment of common goal is a positive mark. The recruitment process of the
Ernst and Young (EY) should be changed so that skilled and capable candidate can be hired
from different geographical area for the vacant position. Although introducing diversity in the
premises involves huge cost and time but it is beneficial in the long run. Ernst and Young (EY) is
undertaken to complete the project in the set time span. In this organization more than 212,000
employees are working and are effectively serving services regarding tax, advisory, assurance
and transaction services. It is located in England, UK and the founders are Arthur Young and
Alwin C. Ernst. This assignment covers aims and objectives of the project. Literature review is
given on set objectives. Various research methodology are illustrated to better understand their
concept.

Overview of the research
To sustain and survive in the global market it is essential for every business to execute
cultural diversity in their working premises (Sylaj, 2019). To cope up with the challenges created
by competitors management of Ernst and Young (EY) need to formulate strong tactics to
overcome them. Diverse culture can be build smoothly by recruiting skilled and experienced
employee from various geographical region. By this slowly inclusive culture can be introduced
in the working environment and existing sub-ordinates can be convinced to accept it. Diversity
has raised many issues such and language and communication due to which set goals and
objectives are not achieved in the set time duration. This a major concern because if this issues
are not managed properly then EY business who is offering services related to tax, advisory,

assurance and transaction services can not meet the emerging needs of the customers.
Communication plays vital role in the transferring the important information among it's team
members. If there is gap in language and communication because of inclusive culture execution
in the workplace the chances of raising chaos, mis-understanding and conflict will be raised.
However, it decreases overall productivity and profitability of the enterprise. If the issue which
is occurred by cultural diversity is not managed properly, gradually the market value decreases
in the international (Ou, 2019).

It is important conduct research on the topic “To determine the influence of cultural
diversity in reducing barriers of language and communication in the workplace”. A case study on
Ernst and Young (EY) because by this management of the organization will be able to deal with
issues emerged because of introducing diversity in the workplace (Kumari and Nirban, 2019).
The problem which is raised because of diversity is language and communication. As diverse
background staff members are recruited in the organization the gap in language and
communication has become a major issue. Due to which worker's are unable to provide
productive results in the specified time duration. As there is language and communication gap
among the team members the relevant and important information is not transferred to the other
party in correct order. By which the ratio of unproductive results has raised rapidly.
By conducting research on this topic numerous ways can be identified to overcome the
challenges occurred by Diversity implementation in Ernst and Young (EY). However, innovative

directly or indirectly affect the performances of employees as they are unable to either convey
