This research project, submitted for a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Business, investigates the relationship between cultural diversity and racism prevention in the workplace. The project aims to determine effective strategies for managing and improving cultural diversity to prevent discrimination, using Tesco Express Wembley as a case study. The objectives include understanding cultural diversity, evaluating its benefits, identifying challenges, and recommending best practices for racism management. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing literature review, surveys, and thematic data analysis. The project includes a detailed literature review, outlining key concepts and previous research, and a timeline with milestones. The research methodology involves deductive reasoning and interpretivism as a philosophical stance, with data collection through secondary sources and surveys. The study seeks to provide insights into how organizations can foster inclusive environments and mitigate racism through effective management of cultural diversity.
