was narcissists. The ideas of self-portrait were in itself unique that made the experience of seeing
the self-portrait of the artist unique. The self-portrait artist was Frida Kahlo whom she dedicated
to Leon Trotsky (washington.org). The painting was amazingly beautiful as it depicted the
beauty in which the colors were used to portray the magnificence of the painting. The artist used
the colors in such a mysterious fashion that the narcissism and self-centerd characteristics of the
painting were visible in the bold fashion. The usage of colors in such a fashion made it one of the
attractive paintings in the eyes of the viewers. The another interesting painting was created by
one of the famous painters of southern Europe Georgia in which the dog was portrayed with
innocence that evoke the feeling of piety for the spectator.
It could be said that these paintings were responsible for bringing the truths of life to the
surface through their abstract means of communication. The museum had been the testimony for
so many years about the talents of the women that were kept hidden from the eyes of the world.
During the period of establishment of the museum, many critics opposed its development, as
they did not understand the importance of erecting the only women Museum. According to
various renowned scholars of that time, the establishment of such museum was essential to honor
the creativity of the women artists, who else were the lost pages of history in the patriarchal
society. The National museum of women arts gave the recognition to the works of women that is
still celebrated in the 21st century.
