The present workshop is meant for the comprehension of cultural and social diversity,
along with the associated characteristics and concepts such as cultural intelligence, emotional
intelligence and social intelligence. The aim, however, is to enable the participants to grasp the
essence of these terms and to use them appropriately in an appropriate environment.
The professional’s development workshop is designed as an interactive and engaging set
of activities, which will facilitate the participants to grasp the concept of social and cultural
diversity within the context of real-life situations. Moreover, it is aimed at involving the
participants in a proactive manner. The overall design includes several tasks and activities,
allowing them to engage in self-reflection, observation, comprehension, critical thinking,
discussions and construction of opinions.
This workshop is essentially a professional development workshop. This workshop
denotes the merit of the activities as practical training for the participants to employ their
knowledge, experience and expertise into managing various situations at the workplace. With
these essential criteria in mind, the design of the course has been crafted with a careful choice of
