Introduction
In this report a case study of 58 year old aboriginal man with poorly controlled
diabetes has been considered. In which four appropriate services and resources that should
be present in hospital to keep the environment culturally safe is discussed.
Staff education
Working with community feedback and survey data, the hospital or care system
educates staff on the importance of cultural competence and the particular cultural needs of
patients that staff interacts with each day. The cultural environment can be maintained by a
proper care will be provided to the patient suffering from diabetes, it is necessary that
hospital should have a highly skilled nursing staff. The nurse’s staff should be well educated
so that no proper insulin is applied and they understand all the hospital regarding setting. A
part from a plan regarding prevention protocol is designed that helps in dealing with all the
medical records. Apart from that a specialist team need t designed so that they can deal with
all the critical and emergency cases. Nurses should have a friendly behaviour so that they
could understand the problem of the patients and take a proper decision1. It is necessary to
plan an appropriate discharge plans and self-management of diabetes guidelines should be
provided. Thus guidelines are designed to help the patients so that a proper role is followed
by the nurses. A healthy communication with the patients helps in better understanding of all
the abnormalities. The staffs at the hospital are the many components that help in betterment
of the health. If the nurses are well educated it will be easy for the patient to communicate
their problem as well as establishing better treatment goals. They promote self-management
strategy in the hospital among patient to develop physical skills and self-monitoring skills2.
Thus if nurses are educated the environment of office would be maintained by keeping the
culture safe and maintaining the hospital environment.

that mostly Hepatitis B vaccine is recommended for adults to stay up to date with technology.
