1. What about the Profession and role of culture liaison.
Access to the code of conduct of an Exercise and sports science professional has found
that this is profession that related with integral procedure of health, welfare and performance of
Australians (Plough, 2015). Therefore, I think I am suitable for the role of Culture liaison as
officer who takes initiatives to improvise the relationship between the police and ethnic
communities for providing proper guidelines. Hence, the role of culture liaison in terms to heath
services defined as-
To take all reasonable steps to prevent harm from occurring the result of delivery of the
service and conduct.
To provide service in compliance with requirement of relevant regulatory bodies.
To provide the service for the period at time those services are required to provide.
2. Demonstrating the theoretical relevance and relationship between social detriment, human
right culture competence and health outcomes.
Social detriments of health defined the environmental conditions both physical and social
that influence the health outcomes. It affects the physical and social factor condition the
environment that impacts the wide range of heath, functioning and quality of life outcomes.
Therefore, human culture competence aids to imply the integrated pattern of human behaviour
that is inclusive of though, action, customs, values, racial or social groups (Heiman & Artiga,
2015). Cultural competence in the health care is broadly defined as it provides the ability of
providers and to understand and integrate these factor into the delivery relates with heath care
system.
Hence, the main goal of cultural competent health care is to provide the highest quality of
the care to the patients. In order to have enhancement in cultural competence the heath care
delivery system is need to be in the competent manner (Compton & Shim, 2015). Furthermore,
human rights creates the legal obligation on health sector to access to timely, qualified and
affordable heath care. I have analysed that social determine, human right culture and plays
crucial role in order to deliver the best services to the patients (Wallerstein & et.al., 2017).
These are crucial in order to meet the health outcomes. This is interrelate to each other as
this find out ways to address the gap in culture competence and also provide competent care to
improve patients outcome. This is effective as this helps to have reduction in heath disparities
and improving access to high quality health care.

3. Identify with practical example and links to professional guidelines and five key constructs of
cultural competency.
The five key constructions of the model as cultural competence can be defined to put
consideration over skills, knowledge, encounters, awareness, encounters and desires. I have
analysed, culture skills aids to deal with diverse culturally groups. Thus, development current
model of cultural competent as "ASKED" that aids to identified the five constructs as cultural
awareness, cultural knowledge, cultural skill, cultural desires and cultural encounters
(Deshmukh & et.al., 2015). At the first version this model did not express the interdependent
relationship between the constructs. I also felt that cultural competence was not just more than
just awareness, knowledge, skill, encounters. Under this, the second version the culture desires
added and this modified the pictorial representation of the model. Hence, it can be stated that the
process of cultural competence in the delivering the health care service plays the better and
effective role in terms to be the culturally evident (Jennings, Larson & Yun, 2016).
In addition to it, this can be stated that the current model begins and ends with seeking

journey of unremitting cultural encounters. Therefore, the five key constructs defined as-

However, by integrating cultural safety in active mode reconfigures services that allows to have
greater equity of realised access. Hence, cultural liaison plays the crucial link between the
residents of the particular commodity to the enterprise that provides particular service.
5. Determine understanding of the barriers and facilitators to cultural safety.
The professional practice for both staff and professional plays crucial role in heath
outcomes. Thus, barriers relate to it defined as-
Complex health insurance eligibility is one common barrier to meet the health care
outcomes. Enhancement in the focus over the culture competence and by providing culturally
competent services can be often the challenging in order to meet the need of the quality care of
the patients (Salmond & Echevarria, 2017). Thus, one of the common barrier among this is that
there is ineffective communication between the staff and heath care professionals and this is
impacting the all over work to the enterprise.
6. Role of health theory in health services
I have great understanding of impact of social determinants and how these aspects affects
the quality of health care. In my opinion it is very important to understand the needs and
perspective of the communities so that effective health care services can be provided to them.
However, the cultural elements affects the way people respond, accept or perceive any health
care services (Addy & et.al., 2015). Thus, knowledge of the cultural variable makes me highly
suitable for the job role of cultural liaison. With my existing understanding I will be able to
effectively understand the cultural diversity and will be comfortable in such cultural variations.
This adaptability makes me suitable for the job role. It is the key responsibility of the
cultural liaison that they must be able to interact with the communities and people from different
culture. In order to develop trust between people and to closely understand their needs cultural
liaison must have sensitivity and in depth understanding of not only human rights but also of
cultural impact on health services (Plough, 2015). With the knowledge of these aspects if
selected I will be able to fulfil my job role with more efficiency. The existing knowledge will
also help me to develop effective interventions and thus my quality of services will be improved.
