I strongly believe that there cannot be a human society where individuals do not have
various values, ideas, beliefs or any particular thought process. In another way, it can also be said
that every human society runs on the basis of certain cultural practices. The human beings are
actually cultural beings and presence of culture has been ever present in thehuman society. I
believe that we, human beings actually have some fundamental in-built dispositions and it is
more like the ability to communicate by language. Physiologically humans are not at all built in a
way where they are genetically force to act or to think according to a particular pattern. For an
example, it can be said that a lion is predisposed to act on certain conditions, like when it sees an
animal, the predatory instincts awakens in it. On the other hand, humans are not compelled to act
in a certain pattern as we have the ability to think and analyze. We respond to certain conditions
according to the set of notions, attitude or culture that have been influencing us for years.
From the above mentioned idea, I perceived that if an individual is raised in a particular
cultural background, shall respond to a particular situation very differently than an individual
who is raised in a different way. In all diverse places of realm, where there are lions would react
in the same way under same conditions. There is a natural empathy between work that pressures
the role of embodiment and action in thought and reason and work that explores the cognitive
role of Cultural Revolution. Both methodologies share an importance on the power of non-neural
structures to transform the shape of the problem-solving activity required of individual brains.
Such potent non-neural structures take a wide variety of forms, from the biomechanics of the
gross physical body to the structural features of a linguistic code and on to aspects of the local,
physical and social environment. Humans from different regions also do some activities alike,
like they eat, sleep, make love, defecate and many more, but every individuals have their own

specific ways of doing things. The most important thing in this case is the manner of doing
things. The way a particular society’s individuals react to a certain situation will of course vary
from the reactions of people from another region of the world.
The way globalization is taking place, I believe cross cultural activities are becoming
very common these days. For an example, it can be said that according to Chinese traditions the
bride has to wear red traditional clothes, but at times it is seen that the bride is wearing white
gown just like the Europeans, this an ideal example of mix of cultures. In today’s world this is a
very common aspect of culture and tradition. This phenomenon does not imply that one should
forget about their own culture and will get engaged in practicing activities hailing from another
culture, but the healthy mixing of cultures are appositive influence for the society.
I believe, culture is ordinary and it is a fact that all the human societies have a definite
structure and those societies have their own set of regulations. It is a fact that every society has
its own culture consisting art, specific direction of thinking and a shared values among the
members of that particular society. A culture has two major aspects and those are the known
things and the directions. These can be said as the normal or ordinary processes of human society
and human minds that we can perceive by the nature of a particular culture. Generally the term
‘culture’ is used in two senses; one is to mean a way of life and the other one is to men the arts
and learning. It would not be wiser to consider just the connections between the societies,
structure of the society, social systems and the social institutions, and on the other side it can be
said that there can be no human society without having any people with certain ideas. It can be
said that every society is made upon the basis of culture only and humans are cultural beings.

In daily life we experience that some norms are inherent in us and we in most cases
follow those norms. Just like we pray before having a meal, if we see a horrible situation, we in
our subconscious state of mind call Jesus to save us from the horrors, when we see anything that
is favoring us we automatically praise the lord for that. Apart from that there are various
everyday activities those are inherent us due to the expansion of cultural knowledge from the
external sources like society, or be it from the family or friends.
Culture is ordinary, it is a perception that generated from various real life observations. It
is seen that culture is relative. Like in the eastern region of earth the society might have certain
regulations and the members of those societies have to abide by those regulations. I think, on the
other hand the members of any other society where they abide by a completely different set of
norms, those norms of the eastern region might seem odd for them. Same goes with the example
of listening to music in a live concert and listening to music in a closed environment while
driving or sitting back at home. The way an individual can relate to a song in a live concert
would never get that particular feeling while listening to it in another environment. Thus, it can
be said that culture is relative and thus ordinary.
There might be a lot of difficulties in realizing the concept of culture, but I believe that
culture is manifested at various layers of depth. While analyzing culture of a specific group, it
would be better to differentiate basic three levels that culture manifests itself. These three aspects
are values, basic assumptions and observable artifacts. To analyze the behaviors of the members
of a particular society, it would be better to look at the values behind those sorts of behaviors. I
think that the values might be difficult to observe and it would become necessary to deduce those
by interviewing the key members of that particular society. I think that to understand a particular

culture and to analyze the values of that culture, it would be very important to delve into the
assumptions that determine how the members of a particular group perceive feel and think.
Thus to conclude, I think that in today’s world, due to globalization, there cannot be a
specific way to define culture and culture is utterly relative to different societies. Still, we as we
are cultural beings always get engaged in making culture. It is a matter of fact that it is culture
that influences us to act under certain conditions and culture is relative to different individuals
from different cultural background. Thus to sum up, it can surely be said that culture is ordinary.
