Discussion Board Post
AI Summary
This discussion board post presents a student's reply to the question of how to cure deviance when psychological positivism has many distinct and conflicting theories. The reply builds upon a previous post regarding rational thinking and bounded rationality, asserting their interconnectedness. It agrees with the notion that rational thinking is bounded by rational thoughts and highlights the influence of diverse theories within the criminal justice system, including psychological positivism. The student emphasizes that psychological positivism aims to foster law-abiding behavior through early interventions and suggests that measures like deterrence, retribution, and rehabilitation can effectively address deviance. The reply concludes by affirming that addressing criminal behavior requires considering personality traits and establishing social and legal norms.

Based on the above post on the rational thinking, a reply can be made that the rational
thinking and bounded in a rational way are two concepts that are not existing without the other.
Further, the most logical thinking comprises of having the power that is tend to influence by the
rational thinking within the certain situation. In contrast with the activities of the planning it has
been that criminal are bounded to be relevant factors. For the respective response of the same, I
agree to the fact that rationale thinking is bounded with rationale thoughts because I think that
the response has been written in an effective manner (Stone, 2021). As mentioned in the given
post criminal justice system is a blend of diverse theories and notions that are consequently
acting as the principle of psychological positivism is a part of it. In the given post justice
structures of principal international locations round the arena were application of theory in varied
paperwork. Thus, this new blend of recent cognitive learning theories and modern editions of
the rational actor model shows that there's an opportunity that, a criminal can make alternatives.
Psychological positivism tries to make one a law-abiding citizen through early interventions
(Baronov, 2021). It can be said that these theories can help in ensuring that device can be cured
and there are different ways of doing so. For instance, one of the ways is through deterrence,
while the other ways of doing so include retribution as well as rehabilitation (Ghasemy and et.al.,
2021). It can be stated that by implementing these measures, deviance can be cured and that too
in an effective manner. Therefore, I agree with the points that are mentioned and my response to
the question of “How can we “cure” deviance when psychological positivism has many distinct
and conflicting theories?” is significantly in the support of the same. Therefore, according to the
post there are several personality traits regarding criminal behaviour that dominates until and
unless they form social norms for better life or mitigating the criminal behaviour. It is commonly
seen everywhere but it is better to find suitable way to overcome from the criminal behaviour
and to fix it social and legal norms are important.
