In the recent days, Information technology is newest buzz word for the information
sector. Now, the information can not only be loaded but also can be transmitted and disseminated
in huge quantity. Information System plays an important role in an organization. The
development of an organization depends on the implemented information system and the
information technology used in the organization to seamlessly complete its business operation.
The systems also help the business to achieve its business goals. The current trends of the
information technology evolved in a giant way and helped many organization in various ways.
The business develop itself with the advancements in the information technology. The best
practice is to keep all the business process and the tools updated with the latest versions of the
technology. Some of the current trends in Information system are as follows:
Cloud Computing: An effective tool used by many organization to provide their services to the
clients efficiently through internet. It requires some application and tools such as servers,
networking, software and databases (Daryabar et al. 2013). Cloud based storage allows an
organization to replace all physical hard drive or the local storage system with some remote
databases. User can access the information from this virtual cloud based storage. It helps the
organization in many ways like: reduces the overall cost of the company, it rises the scalability
factor of the organization by increasing the computation power and providing an unlimited
storage capacity, allows the organization to provide high quality services. According to Forbes,
by 2020 83% of the business operation will be done in the cloud which implies that 2019 is the
year where the cloud computing technology will evolved in a gigantic manner.

Mobile Computing: With the evolution of the digital technology, smart phone and tablets are
the most important trend in the Information system. All operations can be operated in these smart
devices which help a user to complete his or her task in less time. Mobiles provide a user
friendly environment to the user. The usage of the mobile phones and its application is
skyrocketed in these recent days (Xu and Mao 2013). The Pew research center proved that
people rarely use the broadband to complete their online operation rather people use their mobile
phone to complete their task. For this reason, the competition level among the mobile
organization has increased in the peak level.
Big Data analytics: It is the process of extracting or dealing with data sets by using some data
processing application software. Basically, it allows a user to handle huge data at a time with an
ease. Data contains huge statistical power as well as are surrounded with numerous threats
around it. Some of the big data challenges are data storage, search and data analysis. Big data
technology also helped an organization in various ways like reducing the overall cost of the
company, allow the organization to take quick and effective decision, and widens the scope to
develop new services and products for the organization (Lee 2017). They are used in different
industries to meet their respective business goals. In recent days, big data analytics become an
handful tool for every organization as it allow the business to access with huge data associated
with the organization.
Automation: Another current trends of the Information System are the automated methods used
in the organization. These methods have an ability to gather data from the customers, vendors
and other documentation. These processes check the invoice status and handles the account
section of any organization. The main benefits of making the business process automated are it
helps in developing the employee retention, morale and productivity. It also allow the business

reporting the status of all business operation helps the organization to improve their service
quality (Louis et al. 2015). Automated methods also help the customers to achieve a quick and

Artificial Intelligence and the smart machines: It is the sector of computer science which
emphasizes the invention of the smart machines which has an ability to perform human
operations. Some of these operations includes learning, planning, problem solving and speech
recognition. The performance of these smart machines are really appreciable as they produce
outcome of zero net error. They reduces the cost for the organization (Bond and Gasser 2014).
The production speed is increased and the quality of the product is also developed with the
introduction of the smart machines in the organization. AI has a positive impact on the
organization’s economy (Müller and Bostrom 2016). AI can reduce the number of jobs in the
organization but also allow the organization to recruit some expert who can handle these
machines efficiently. In these recent day, many organization rely on these smart machine and the
artificial intelligence.
Block chain technology
It is the distributed and decentralized ledger in which some blocks comprising of list of
transaction are joined together using some cryptographic hash. In this process the transaction
originates from the root node and these transactions are validated by other participating nodes.
Then some extra transaction sets are added to it by the mining node (Turk and Klinc 2017). The
mining node which contributes sufficient power to solve the cryptographic puzzle has the ability
to produce and broadcast a new block which contains the list of the validated transactions. Some
aspects that are to be addressed in the block chain are time stamping, consensus and data

integrity and security (Francisco and Swanson 2018). Every block is a set of data which is
encrypted using some mathematical encryption techniques. Due to this reason the block chain
technology is considered to be safe. The block chain technology can drive a business to a reputed
platform by providing some factors like:
Marketing and Advertising: According to the Juniper research it is found that the advertisers
lose more than $50 million per day to the fraudulent advertisement. The block chain technology
will allow the advertising executives to avail some developed protection. This technology also
helps the organization to maintain a reputed manufacturing ROI (Return on Investment). The
principles of this technology is based to stop the banking fraud globally (Iansiti and Lakhani
2017). Organization can track their budget spending in the final publication which stop the
fraudulent activity in the organization.
Human resources: It is assumed that the machine learning is antithesis to Human resources
factor in an organization. However, it requires many skills to critically evaluate, compensate,
hire and terminate an employee from the organization. It is believed that the block chain
technology will modernize hiring process of an organization (Yaga et al. 2019).
IT security: This technology offers additional security to the Information systems that are
implemented in the organization.
Conclusion
Thus, it can be concluded that technological innovations is the key driver of the
organizational development. The technological impact on employees of the organizations are
profound and the managers are facing challenges to ameliorate and anticipate the effects of these
technological innovations. The main idea of these innovations are to perform all business

productivity of an organization. It is also believed that internet will become the only
communicating medium for every people and organization. These innovation allow the business
to develop itself according to the customer’s needs. Thus, it helps the organization to provide
