The current situation in the face of the outbreak of COVID-19, and the virus taking
the shape of a pandemic has brought in significant amount of changes in the daily life of
people all over the world. These times are the most crucial as it shall reveal the manner in
which the government responds to the crisis and helps and supports its people so as to keep
them alive and healthy. In this particular context, I am quite hopeful with the Canadian
government and its response to the crisis. The daily lives have surely come to a standstill
along with the worst hit being the economy. Not just the economy of the country, but also of
the entire world. While analyzing the situation from the personal scale, being stuck at home
and with limited resources is surely very scary and inconvenient for each and every one of us.
With all the schools and colleges and offices closed down, we are being made to get used to a
different set up altogether. Then again, while so many of us are stuck at home, there are
people who are working in the frontline for us, not just as doctors, and nurses, but also in the
various emergency and essential care sectors.
With my habit of being able to travel whenever I get the opportunity, the lockdown
has taught me a number of significant things.
With our tumultuous work routines, we scarcely get time to invest some energy with
companions or venture out during the week. In this way, we step out during the end of the
week and afterwards wind up having Monday blues. It turns into an endless loop of tiredness.
What about remaining at home for the end of the week. Make child strides. Peruse a book,
scrub down or simply lie on the bed and gaze at the roof. Truly, your room may not ignore a
