Curriculum development is defined as the multi – step process of creating and
improving a course which is taught at a school or university. There are certain models of
curriculum development which are being addressed as –
Official Curriculum Theory – Official curriculum is the curriculum which is published
in the prospectus and helps in addressing the individual courses including the number of
hours of teaching and awarding. The official curriculum includes the legal requirements for
the subjects English.
