company is more focus on hiring right employees at workplace who are capable for offering
effective facilities to their customers and also manage arising issues. Customer service is
essential because it will help in enhancing customer loyalty and brand value (Kim and Ko,
2012.). It help people in purchasing services from well reputed organisation and also satisfying
their needs and wants in proper manner. The report is based on ALDI which is large retailer
company and they are mainly deal in variety of products and services among their customers.
ALDI is common brand of two German family operated discount supermarket chains along with
over 10,000 stores in 20 countries. It is estimated as combined turnover which is more than 50

to detail method of data collection, analysis and interpretation. In this, research approach can be
categorised into two main aspects which includes Inductive and Deductive which are described
as under:
Deductive research – It is an approach of investigation which start with proposition of
hypothesis and end result of research is rejected or confirmed (Mason and Brown, 2013). It is
mainly consist with experiment existent concept that are specifically begin with hypotheses.
Investigator are also chained to alteration in their study directions effectively. Thus, depth
investigation is not possible in order to attain in this approach. In deductive approach, there are
certain major aim which has been completed so it is extremely structure as compared to
inductive investigation.
Inductive research – It is an approach to investigation which begin with observation and
end result of research. It can be concerned with developing and building new concept. It does not
have any place for hypotheses. This kind of investigation approaches are related with qualitative
along with report developers required to precede special primed of norms and regulations. In
this, inductive research is best suitable for small concern project that render more accurate facts
and figures regarding specific topic. In this approach, depth analysis are related to specific topic
which having small sample.
In this research project, deductive method is used for collecting and gathering effective
data in order to complete whole report.
Research Methods:
In this part, researcher need to access authentic facts and figures of investigation project
so that they can easily execute different methods and techniques in order to gain advantages
regarding research process. There are two ways through in which research can be conducted in
appropriate manner (Powell and Eddleston, 2013). It includes qualitative and quantitative
research. In qualitative research, information can be gather and collect by developing use of
qualitative method and it is mainly concentrate on managing quality. In addition to this,
quantitative method of research assist in gathering and collecting relevant data in order to
develop specific topic. This report is based on qualitative research which can be used for
gathering and assembling necessary facts while making project. It can be define as tool which
can be used to conduct research on specific topic. This includes different techniques and methods

such as qualitative, quantitative and mixed in which project developer can choose according the
purpose of investigation. There are two types of research methods such as:
Qualitative research – It is that method which help in develop evaluating and
understanding on human and science. Qualitative research is one that provide insights and also
understanding the problem settings. It is an unorganized, exploratory research tool along with
quantitative investigation (Rodriguez, Peterson and Krishnan, 2012). This method is used for
gaining an depth understanding of human behaviour, attitude, intentions and motivations on the
basis of interpretation which help in identify people way of thinking. It is the form of research
where investigator provide more weight to the views of participants or respondents.
Quantitative research – It is the form of research which relies on specific methods of
natural science that produces numerical data and difficult information. This method of main aim
is to establishing cause and it is effect relationship between two variables by using mathematical,
statistical and computational tools. It is also known as empirical research which can effectively
measured and evaluated.
Types of data:
Primary data – It is systematic and accurate study which has been collected with the help
of different sources and method while conducting research on specific topic. Various sources
includes questionnaire, online and offline examination, face to face interviews and so more in
which investigator need to conduct study by itself. In this, primary research generally consumes
time and cost as compared with the secondary investigation method.
Secondary data – It is that kind of enquiry which acquire required data in order to
complied, gathered and collected by other writers and authors. Secondary data is mainly used by
government bodies, business organisation and trade association which are obtained from
published data (Storey, 2016). With the comparison of primary method, this data provide quick
and fast information and also consume less cost and time as well. Along with this, in term of
reliability, sometime secondary method fails in gaining desired facts and figures in adequate
way. This form of investigation render different sources that includes articles, magazines, books,
newspapers and internet and so more.
The existing investigation is create in qualitative manner. In this, both primary and

This is a method and tool through which statistical investigating has been conducted by
researcher. Through this, information can be gathered by them from sample population in order
to gain information about requirement of people. Sampling is the procedure that can help data
scientists, predictive models and data analysis for drawing accurate results. For this, small and
manageable amount of data can be utilised for construct and run analytical models in easy
manner. Data sampling refers as that technique and method which help in collecting and
analysing data as per the predetermined process and method. Usually, researcher are conduct
survey on sample population and it is used for collecting authentic data from huge population. In
data sampling, cost is low while collecting data and it is faster when examining whole
population. Along with this, sampling represents whole population and it can be draw randomly.
There are some steps which involved sampling data (Terho and et. al., 2012). Through this, one
has to select population for gathering data in specify large group of people, describe methods,
random and non random method.
There are two types of data sampling which are described as under:
Probability – It is sampling method where random selection of people are done by
researchers. For this, some process is used for assure about all units in population that are get
equal chance for getting selected. Simple, stratified, cluster, multi stage are different random
sampling method which can be selected by people as per time and funds required. In this, an
individual gather and collect necessary data at reasonable price according to the pattern followed.
Therefore, it is increasing probability which are provide accurate results or outcomes.
Non probability – In this, investigator choose sample on the basis of subjective
judgement. Most of the people are provide any chance for getting part of this study. This assist
researchers in implementing exploratory study which is consider as pilot survey where they are
taken small size for conducting survey. This method is helpful and it is depend upon
investigators interest and expertise. There are various methods and techniques through which
large number of people can easily select on the basis of specific criteria such as convenience,
consecutive, quota, judgemental and snowball.
While conducting research on specific topic, probability sampling method is used on the
basis of random selection and also provide detail information regarding company goods and
services. In this procedure, there are 30 respondents are taken who are present and desired
customers of an organisation.

investigator. In this report, questionnaire method can be used for examining and analysing data
in order to evaluate findings that can be done with the help of interpreting accumulating data. It
is required for company is to break all activities into small parts for measuring an individual
benefits which has to be evaluate by investigator. Along with this, it will assist them in discover
helpful data and information through which accurate conclusion and decision making is
conducted (Terho and et. al., 2012). Through this, there are various methods and techniques that
can be used by a single person for estimating and developing authentic interpretation on
particular topic of research. There are different tools which can be utilised by researchers such as
table, chart, graph and correlation in order to analyse data and solve analytical issues. Thus, such
methods and techniques assist them in developing correct results or outcomes.
