INTRODUCTION
Skills is term which means the ability to perform something. Skills are developed from
life and work experiences and also can be learned. Every person has different type of skills by
which it able to complete the task successfully (Arifin and Setiawan, 2022) . Skills of person
help in better future and carrier development. There are different types of skills like
Communication skills, leadership skills, problem solving skills, management skills etc. In higher
education a student learns many skills which are used at the time of starting of carrier and in
development of carrier. Some of skills students learns in higher education are responsibility
skills, independent work skills, critical thinking skills, collaboration skills etc. In this essay 4
different skills are discussed and analyse about the CV.
Main body
Every individual want to boost its CV which help to get the job easily. But to enhance the
CV it is not necessary to get work experience, individual can make it done by learning new skills
and by personal development also (Barkas, Armstrong and Bisho, 2022) . In higher studies
student get chance to learn new skills which can boost the CV at the time of taking job. While
doing studies student can also get experience online by virtual internships and remote
experience. Many universities provide facilities to students of internships from home, for that
student only need computer or laptop and internet connection. The most important advantage of
online or virtual internships is that individuals don't need to move at any place and they can get
the work experience from across the world. In virtual internships individuals needs to attend the
meeting which is organise by the mentors, complete the tasks etc. Online training enhance the
knowledge and skills of an individual which can be used while getting job after completing the
studies. Individual can also get experience by connecting to their peers. While talking in breaks
and discuss about the some trending topics will enhance the knowledge of the individuals
(Davies, 2022) . When an individual connect to its peers then it get to know more about
companies and opportunities. Individual can also join online groups for connecting in which they
get to know about the training programmes and these groups helps in personality development
also.

It is not important to work in any company to get experience, individual can get work
experience by doing some own work also. While doing studies students can do some small
business by which it get to know about the business operations and activities (Rakhmanina and
Melati, 2022) . This provide the employee experience of work which is beneficial for future,

focus on to develop their skills because these skills give benefit to enhance the CV. Students
have to take part in activities and events of society development, attend the workshops of the
universities. These activities will help in development of individual mentality which can show in
CV also. This shows that individual is active and creative in nature and by these activities skills
of the individual will enhance and also get to learn new skills. In university students also get
chance to show off their skills in different activities and programmes like communication skills,
creativity skills, leadership skills etc. for which students get certificates which can use in CV and
this will improve the CV of the person.
Yes, I am happy with my CV because in my CV I add all my skills and talent which
improve the quality of my CV. It shows all about my qualities and skills which learned during
higher studies and which i learn outside the university. I used all above mentioned suggestions in
my CV to enhance the quality of my CV like i join the virtual internships after university hours
which add work experience in my CV and this will help to make me learn new things and my
skills are also enhanced. I also actively take part in all the activities of the college which help me
to show case my skills and certificates to add in CV. By these certificates recruiter get to know
about my skills like leadership and communication skills. By adding these activities certificates
and internship certificate the quality of my CV is improved and it will also increase my chances
of getting job (Sherov, 2022) . My CV tell everything about me, so at the time of interview my
chances of getting the job is increase and also employer may offer me good post and salary by
seeing my all skills and knowledge which are mentioned in my CV. To boost your CV it is very
important that to add all extra skills abilities along with qualification because it will create
positive impact on recruiters mind.

CONCLUSION
From the above essay it has been concluded how CV can be boost for better job in the
future (Wekerle, Daumiller and Kollar, 2022) . In this essay suggestions are provided by which
an university student can enhance its skills and knowledge while studying which can help in
improving the quality of CV, so it can get better job in the future. Individual can join virtual
internships for work experience, join social groups to get knowledge about the society and latest
trends in job and also individual should take part in all the events and activities of the university

INTRODUCTION
Students learns many skills during studying in university which help them to get better
jobs and improve their quality of CV. When individual is continuously learning new skills than it
keep individual motivated and also help in achieving the goals. While learning new skills
knowledge of an individual will also enhanced and get chance to learn new things or experience
which can be used in future. Skills improve the knowledge of the person and enhance the
personality of the individual (Anwar and Abdullah, 2021) . Skilled person feel confident and able
to take correct decisions in difficult situations by using their skills. In this essay the skills which
students develop while studying in universities and their importance at workplace will discuss.
Main body
During studies students learn many skills which is use in future at workplace. These skills
are so normal which can be used in personal life also. Time management is the first skill student
learn in universities, this skill is developed in students because student have to perform multiple
tasks at one time so students learn to manage the time like after study in universities many
students are doing the part time work along with that they have keep time for family, friends,
project works, etc. Student learn to manage all these tasks all together and also perform all tasks
well (Budiman, Samani and Setyawan, 2021) . When student got placed and get work pressure
and family pressure than individual know how to handle all the things because the time
management skill was learn by the individual in university, so that individual manage time for
both work life and personal life. Also complete all projects of company on time with full
efficiency, manage family and enjoy personal life.
The another skill students learn in university is Independence, while student go first time
in university it feel nervous and depend on others for guidance. But gradually students get
familiar with the environment and know about the university, its teachers, students, rules and
regulations than student feel motivated and independent and also able to perform all tasks at
own. Similarly at workplace person feel nervous for short period of time but individual has
independent skills due to which it able to perform all its work with confidence and not depend on
any superior to make understand any work (Haque, Kardasz and Alldridge, 2021) . Although
individual takes own initiative and give new and innovative ideas on different projects.

Independent individual feel more confidence and manage more responsibilities and possibly can
get higher post in future.
Communication is one of the most important skill learn by students in university. While
studying university students get chance to communicate with different types of people whether
with the teachers, friends, in campus, group projects, events and activities of the university etc.
meet with many people. Student has learn to communicate with different people and also learn to
influence or convince others through communication. Along with that individual has developed
the ability to understand the thinking of the another persons and understand what they are talking
about (Howard and Sarbaum, 2022) . This skill is very helpful at workplace because when
student get job they have to deal with different type of peoples and need to speak with customers,
clients, colleagues, superior. In this situation communications skills are used to make convince
customers and clients and understand the view point of superiors. With good communication
skills a person is able to make special place at work place.
Teamwork is also one of the skill students learn in university and which is helpful at
workplace. In universities students have done many group projects through which teamwork skill
is develop in students. At the time of team work different type of people are their in group with
different mindsets and different point of view. But while working in group individual needs to
understand the others view, learn listen to others, maintain coordination and set common goal for
whole team. In workplace also individual performs tasks in team in which team work skills is
required for smooth working in the group. With the team management skills group is able to
preform tasks effectively and help in growth and development of the organisation.
The another skill is Decision making which students learn in universities. In universities
students face many situations where they have to make decisions like in assignment student take
many decisions about topic, source of information etc. along with these activities in which they
want to perform, choice of subjects and many more (Kaplan, 2021) . From these small day to day
decisions, decision making skill is develop in students and they take correct decisions. When
students are placed at work at that time also they have to take many decisions which decide their
future. At workplace individuals take many decisions whether it is related to choose team,
making friends at workplace and behaviour with colleagues.
In the universities students learn Research and critical thinking skills, it means that
ability to evaluate facts and form judgements. Critical thinking helps to perform problem solving

and decisions making more effectively (Kim, Kim and Han, 2021) . In the universities students
do research and develop the critical thinking skills. When project works are assigned to students
than they do research in collecting data and information from different sources and analyse the
data. In colleges students has given the different types of projects in which students have to make
research in group or individually and along with that critical thinking skills is also developed in
students in which students analyse the facts, information and evidence to make judgements.
Research and critical thinking skills together make chances of getting job higher. An employer
want these skills in an employee while hiring. Employees who have these skills is probably
perform effectively and efficiently at the work place because with these skills when project or
some tasks is assigned to an employee than it able to collect information and data easily and also
evaluate them. Employees with these skills provide better output to the company and also it
reduces the chances of mistakes and errors. These skills also provide many opportunities to
employee for future growth and development.
During studying in universities students also develop the writing and reading skills. In
colleges students have to give many papers in exams, essays, project works which improve the
writing skills of the individual. Students learn to communicate in short and understanding words.
In colleges when students write essays and paper they know what information should be used
and which one is useless (Lavi, Tal and Dori, 2021) . With this skill when an student get placed,
writing skills make employees image good in the office like at the time of writing email
employees needs to be very specific with the words because everyone want up to point
information which should be short and easy to understand. Along with email employees also
write many information and data, with writing skills individual is able to provide these
informations in effective way which can be easily understand by everyone, as well as with
writing skills student also learn writing skills in the universities. Students give many
presentations, take part in debate competition and many more activities in which they learn the
reading skills. In reading students learn to read information correctly and in effective way, so
listeners like to listen and understand the information without getting bore or uninterested. While
getting job individual need to give many presentation in front of clients and seniors (Maneejuk
and Yamaka, 2021) . At this time reading skills are used, so individual can read the information
correctly and make it understand to the listener and also used to convince clients.

Every individual need to know some Technical skills also for better growth. In
universities students also learn some technical skills which used in future jobs. While studying
students need to prepare presentations, posters and word documents. Along with this students
also learn some other technical skills also (Nikou and Aavakare, 2021) . While hiring employer
seek to find employees who know some technical skills also because in office individuals need to
prepare presentations and present documents in front to superiors, for that employee should
know the some technical skills. Along with this in today's world process of doing work is
changing everything is moving towards the technical because with technical skills the process of
doing work is become easy and able to perform work more effectively. When employees learn
some technical skills than they able to perform their tasks more effectively and and easily which
also enhance their chances of promotion and future growth.
Along with above discussed skills student also learn many other skills also in universities
which are used at the workplace. Studying in the university is the time period where student
learn many skills which help in personality development and enhance the knowledge of the
students. Like students also learn work ethics at the universities in which individual is dedicated
to achieve its goals as well as individual is initiative and feel dedication towards the work and
complete the work on time and with full efficiency. Students learn this kill in universities
because students need to complete their projects before deadlines. Apart from this students also
learn listening skills, develop confidence and motivation, organisation skills, problem solving
skills, creativity and innovation skills etc. these all are the skills student learn in universities. All
the skills which students able to develop in themselves will help them in performing better at the
time of getting job (Wheelahan and Moodie, 2021) . Every student is not able to develop all
types of skills, every student learn different type of skills according to their interest and
knowledge and no students is able to develop all types of skills in itself.
CONCLUSION
From the above essay it is concluded the skills students learn in universities and they are
important at workplace. Students learn many skills in universities which are used in workplace.
Through these skills students enhance their knowledge also, there are many skills learn by
students and then they used these skills at the workplace. These skills increase the chances of

learn to take quick and correct decisions etc. along with these skills students also learn many

development of the student.
