INTRODUCTION
Team work is the synergistic way which allows the individual in the analysation of how
the person get committed and toward their responsibility in the shared goals. CVF which is
competing value's framework will be discussed in this report which helps the individuals in
collaborating, controlling, creating and competing. This report will reflect the major operations
of the group in teamwork and application of the motivational theories. The given report will
provide the information on the give actions which help in utilization of the CVF actions.
MAIN BODY
Reflection on the group work with utilization of teamwork and motivational theories
In the group work we had to do as a team was related to the select a personality in the
history to understand what is the perspective of the other people one those individuals. Our visit
to the Museum of London provided us the identification of the historical personality which we
could choose for understanding the CVF which talks about the leadership behaviour and how this
behaviour can be embedded in the organization. All these activities done by the team required
some teamwork which we put into the analysis of the selected historical individual. As a group
we first made the decision on who will be the historical person that will be interesting for our
research in history that we will find in the Museum of London.
For our project we had to build strong teamwork strategies that are considered to be
essential for the team to establish their targets which can provide them the identification of how
we can achieve the actions. Thus, for selecting the historical person our team firstly utilized the
voting systems in which all the members of the group contributed with their ideas such that a
target could be established (Jones, 2019). This planning all the activities were done prior to the
starting the team work by the individuals. We allocated the work of each individual to them
before the team work practices. I was the leader of the team therefore it was my responsibility to
take the final decisions on behalf of the team. By having clarity in the roles, responsibility and
accountability of the team which was able to understand and establish clear goals which provided
the team with effectiveness in the communication of the team. The communication between the
team members was very strong which allowed the individuals in the applicability of the trust and
effectiveness of the operations of the management.

With the help of the Tuckman's theory the teamwork and the stages of the team towards
the completion of its tasks has been discussed. This theory has the following stages through
which the team goes through,
Forming :
This is the stage in which the team is formed which assembled and the task is allocated to
the individuals in the team. As the leader of that team my which went to the museum I was the
one which allowed the team in the management of the work. This was the stage in which we
were able to allocate the tasks which were essential for our group project. In this team there was
a lot of time which was spent towards the planning and collecting of the information (Zhen,
2017).
Storming :
This is the stage in which the team started to address all the tasks which each member of
the team was responsible towards. The members of the team in this stage started to develop an
idea which allowed them to manage their relationships which resulted in the increase of the team
productivity. The main reason due to which the team struggled in this stage was because they
were not familiar to the task and took time to collaborate with each other.
Norming :
The storming phase of the individuals were towards the norming phase in which team
members show harmonious in the working practices which help the team in agreeing with the
rules and values which are helpful for the operations. In this stage the performance of our team
increase heavily, and they were able to perform at the maximum potential however, this was also
the stage in which the team saw rise in the conflicts which was considered to be effective in
development of a strategy towards the business of the organization.
Performing :
In the performing stage the team is complete, and they are absolutely in the control of
their operations which help the team in reaching the maximum productivity and also be able to
provide essential features to the operations of the team. In this stage the team was able to develop
a very strong bonding with the establishment of the efficiency and effectiveness in their work.
This also allowed the team to gain new opportunities of performance in the group work (Kaurand
et.al., 2021).

Utilization of CVF's actions
The application of the CVF strategy application for the individual is considered to the
application of the assurance which helps the individuals in the application of the values and
competencies of the role-played by me in the team. Assurance of the clear expectations of each
and every work which are known to be the clear values of the principles. The CVF strategy
consists of the four values which are taken under consideration of the three cluster which has
helped me to be effective in the group work (Mills‐Novoa and Livermam, 2019).
Collaboration :
For me to develop collaboration which I can implement to the team work I need to make
sure that I am inspired towards my work which was due to the top to down understanding of the
work. In order to be more collaborative it is essential to align the vision and purpose of the group
which can be use for fostering the friendship and also allowing the diversification of the
management of the work of the individuals (Popescu, CORBOȘ and Bunea, 2018). I was able to
increase my collaborative performance in the team with the help of developing good relations
with the team members for which I also took the help of a social networking site to create team
spirit. Establishing clear goals was an easy and encouraging thoughts that the leaders can use for
the demonstration of the main collaborative behaviour. The main communication towards the
expectations was in relation to the management of the operations which are said to develop a
culture in the team and its performance. Main reason why the team was not able to develop
effectiveness in the teamwork was due to the collaboration which they showed.
Creation :
I was able to create value from my participation in the team. In this framework the value
of create provides the individuals opportunities to take risks. Risk taking is essential for
development of innovation in the operations and strategy of a team (Nguyen and Kulkarni,
2020). This can also help in the creation of the ideas which are helpful for supporting the
organization in the creativity and also divergence. I was also able to create a relationship with the
team members which gave mutual emphasis on the generation of the attention of a common
visible project. Creation of a value in teams can also provide the team's growth in the mutual
enthusiasm towards the work which they are responsible for my duty in the team. I was also able
to develop a strategy which the team would follow for being effective and reach the goals of the

team. As a leader of the team my focus was on the creation of a plan for the team which it will
follow to get the results it desired in the team.
Competing :
The performance of a team can increase when if they will show determination towards
their work. Being competent means to compete with their own self so that they can develop their
performance on their own. For a team it is considered that implementation of competency in the
performance of the team. The main reason for being competent is very important for the team is
that it allows them to reach certain short term goals. Reaching such short term goals will be the
stepping stones to the success of the group work (Richards, Minor and Plato, 2017).
Control :
Assessing control is very important for the team this is the reason why as a leader I have
focused more over asserting my control in the management of the work of all the team members.
Having all the factors under my consideration helps the business in the management. It also a
factor which help in the incrementation of the team performance which is generally known to be
the focus of the members of the team. As an internal analysis the operation of the team members
need to be reported to the leader such that their work progress could be monitored and the team
is able to be successful (Competing Values Framework, 2021).
CONCLUSION
With the help of this report it can be concluded that the competing value's framework will
provide me the development of the essential strategy which can allow the business in increase in
the management of the operations. This report talked about the group work in which teamwork a
motivational theory are applied. This report also provides an analysis of how CVF's actions can
be implying on a team member.
