Discussion
After conducting a value framework survey, I get to know that it is an effective tool for self-
assessment which reflects my personal skills and make necessary improvements. As per the
CVF, it has overviewed that all the four quadrants are not equal as some of my areas are good
whereas some require some necessary modification. Hence, after reviewing the CVF report
((Quinn et al. 2011)) I get to know that being a leader, it is essential for individuals to have
some skills or traits which assists them to fulfil their roles and responsibilities in the required
manner. I am good in the area of monitoring and producing role and not able to perform
mentoring and facilitator role.
As a coordinator, I also coordinate with departmental managers so as to make imperative
business decisions which contribute to the growth and success of the company. As a
producer, I also produce effective strategies or tactics for his or her subordinates with an aim
to implement best working practices. In a business organisation, I review the work of staff
members and identify areas for improvements then organise training and development
sessions accordingly (Donate and de Pablo, 2015). On the other hand, working in the tourism
industry, I have to focus on facilitating and mentoring role which would be supportive for me
to reduce the complexity of tasks by classifying them into different sub-parts.
Hence, it results I am following change management model and human relations model for
building up my career; it assists me in achieving career goals and objectives in a required
manner as well as get improvements in facilitating and mentoring others.
