adolescent are known as contemporary issues as it stresses and depression, cyber addiction,
early age sex, teenage pregnancy, and many more (Edgerly, Thorson, Thorson, Vraga, & &
Bode, 2018). This research paper focuses in detail on the issues teenage face due to social
media and cyber addiction with supportive solutions to the issues.

Social media is a hub to make contacts with the unknown and known friends and to share
their moment of the happiness, adventures and many more using the internet. These social
sites include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and many more making a world of cyber
connection (Gedam, Ghosh, Modi, Goyal, & Mansharamani, 2017). There are many benefits
of using these social websites on internet like adolescent can build their communication skills
with interacting many friends across the world, they can get in touch to other community,
country and people and can develop their personality and knowledge, internet is helpful to
conduct research over topic given in the classrooms for study. Social media and other use of
the internet is very common and most important part of the people in their present time in all
age but it plays an important role in the life of adolescents (Goel, Subramanyam, & Kamath,
2013). There are many side effects of using the social media as cyber addiction those can be
discussed as:

Use of the internet and social media can result in the exposure of a teen to slut
shamming, cyber bullying and many more
Excess use of internet can result the distance from the real world friends and families
Many criminal activities took place with the use of internet

An adolescent face emotional attachment with the friends and this sometimes result to
affect their mental health
