Cyber bulling is the cruelest activity being performed by the people. As nowadays technological
advance this activity is also rising day to day. it is basically a form of harassment which affect individual
mentally, emotionally and physically. The present case study will be evaluate the various reasons for the
introduction of new legislation to deal with problem cyber bullying and also the various ways to prevent
the cyber bullying activity.

There are many reasons for the introduction of new legislation to deal with the problem of cyber crime
as it is very cruel activity with torture people in both ways as mentally as well as emotionally. As it is the
kind of online harassment. As it known as the biggest crime. But there are no proper laws and regulation
that are set by the government to protect this kind of criminal activities. There are many area by which
bullying can take place such as spreading rum ours in texts and messages as it can damage the individual
personality (Patchin and Hinduja, 2015). And secondly it can be done by posting wrong comment to a
person’s wall or impersonating the victim by hacking their account and also it is done sharing photos of
the victim without their knowledge or consent. As all such activities are consider as cyber bulling. It can
affect the individual to the mental and physical health. Nowadays cyber bullying is increase day by day.
And p[people consider it as right way to take revenge from people. As increase used of technology has
caused many issues regarding cyber bullying (Brewer and Kerslake, 2015).
Reasons :
As there are 25% of teenager has experiences cyber bullying as cyber bulling has affect them to the large
extent. As it is the online crime bullying through mobile phone or on the internet. Also 52 % has young
people report being cyber bullied and also there are many cases where many people report that there
photos and videos are taken without their knowledge or consent. The bullied take place to that extent
as people has attempted suicides, severe emotional harm and has significant impact on individual‘s lives.
As the biggest concern is that there is strict law that helps people and their problem about cyber crime.
As it is very illegal activity and therefore strict law required. As in many countries there is no proper laws
to tackle such problem yet too often cases have led victim taking their own lives ,yet court can only use
existing legislation through interpretation to prevent harassment or threatening behavior online. Cyber
bullying is considered as the major social issue which needs to be addressed soon. Also several measures
are been taken to protect children and vulnerable adults. As various social media sites such as Facebook,
Instagram made the guideline that children must be at least 13 to hold accounts. And also there are
many policies made to reduce the number of crime. As after the death of cyber bullying the new laws
has been passing and matter has been taken to the serious level. Government is also considering the
best prevention is to educate the people about the cyber crime. Children, teachers and parents should
engage in developing the understanding of internet safety and also educate their children about this.

committee that will control and discuss the problems of online. The fifth way to prevent cyber crime is
to build positive environment as it is important to give youth a systematic knowledge about the crime
and also conduct various program to make aware about it. And the last way is that to restore victim self
respect as one of the ultimate goal is to protect the self respect of victim (Whittaker and Kowalski,
2015).
