Summary
The certifications that are provided in the giac includes provisioning of cyber defense.
Certifications regarding penetration testing is also taken under consideration. Penetration testing
certification is also provided in the giac certification website. Incident response and Foreinsics
are also provided in the giac website. Management, Audit and Legal certification is also provided
in giac. Industrial control system certification is also provided in giac website. Developer
certification is also provided in the giac website. GSE certification are also provided in giac
website. These certifications are related to cyber security. This process ensures the fact that the
management of the entire process is commenced with the help of the security based certification.
These certifications will be acting help in better understanding of the security related issues that
are present in regular day to day life.

Valuable Certification
Certification on Cyber defense might act helpful for my career as I intend on excelling in
managing cyber security issues. GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) certification will be the
certification I will be taking into consideration. The main reason that the GIAC Security
Essentials (GSEC) certification is taken into consideration because this certification will help in
understanding the Access control and Password management of a system. This certification will
also help us in understanding the concept of Active Defense, Contingency plan, Critical Control,
Cryptography, Cryptography Algorithms & Deployment, Cryptography Application, Defense in
Depth, Defensible Network Architecture, Endpoint Security, Enforcing Windows Security
Policy, Incident Handling & Response, IT Risk Management, Linux Security, Log Management
& SIEM, Malicious Code & Exploit Mitigation, Network Device Security, Networking &
Protocols, Security Policy, Threat Hunting and Virtualization and Cloud Security.
Exam Options
GIAC exams are taken in online platform. The questions that are set are due to
experience of several years and this is the sole reason that on gaining the certification the main
advantage that is enjoyed includes better handling of security management. The usage of
