INTRODUCTION
The present case study is based on cyber bullying. as it is very cruel activity being perform by the
people. Cyber bullying is also known as cyber harassment. it is a form of harassment using electronic
means . it is also known as online bullying . especially among teenagers , it has become very common.
When someone especially teenagers bully or harass others on social media sites referred as cyber
bullying. Posting rumors, threats, sexual remarks, a victims personal information or pejorative labels are
all comes under his harmful bullying behavior .it is identified by repeated behavior and an intent to
harm. due to this , the victims may experience increased suicidal ideation , lower self esteem ,and
several negative emotional responses specific to cyber bullying including being scared, frustrated,
angry ,and depressed.

Evaluate the reason for the introduction of new legislation to deal with the problem cyber bullying
Cyber crime is a very cruel activity with torture people in both the ways as mentally and emotionally
both, due to this there are various reasons to introduce a new legislation to deal with the problems
evolved. As we know it is online harassment and it is the biggest crime too, but there are no proper and
specified laws and regulations for these criminal activities. It is caused by spreading rumors and because
of this an individual’s personality is affected. Also it is caused by hacking any account and posting wrong
comment and sharing photos of the victims without their consent. Individual’s mental and physical
health is affecting due to this cyber bulling. People do this crime mainly to take the revenge from the
people. Cyber bullying is also increasing with this rate because of the use of technology (Olweus and
Limber, 2018).
It is online crime bullying through mobile phones and internet, cyber bullying has affect the teens to the
large extent as 25% of the teens has experiences this. There are many cases where people report to be
cyber bullied and in this 52% has young people. due to this cyber bullying , many people attempts
suicides ,harm themselves and has a very significant impact on individuals lives. For this criminal activity,
a strict law must be required ,to deal with the problems (Patchin and Hinduja, 2015 . there are many
countries where there are no such specific laws implemented to tackle these problems yet court can
only use existing legislation through interpretation to prevent these problems related to harassment .
cyber bullying is considered as a major social issue which needs to be addressed soon .To protect adults
and children there are several measures undertaken , like the children must be 13 to hold any account
on instagram and face book and a number of policies are made to reduce the rate of crime . New laws
have been passed as many people have died because of this cyber crime at a serious level. Teachers and
parents should educate their children about this and teach them about the safety and understanding of
internet well. Government is also considering the best prevention is to educate the people about the
cyber crime. Children, teachers and parents should engage in developing the understanding of internet
safety and also educate their children about these. . As education develop to reach younger children and
parents and also creating public awareness of this crime (Brewer and Kerslake, 2015).

There are many ways which help to prevent cyber bullying is to use celebrity to aware many people
about the prevention of the cyber bullying. As there are a lot of celebrities which are taking initiative to
help the victim and their family to the large extent. and also the celebrity impact the society in the
positive manner. And the second way is to the problem to the psychologist as he will be the one who
will give you the best solution of the problem and helps individual to recover as early as possible. So this
are the ways which are help to prevent the cyber bullying as this is the serious matter that causes
negative impact on the society. As it also gives the advantage to monitor and control the performance of
hacker and also it helps to prevent and block the user accounts. So by all this it is very important to
imposed and introduced so that to reduced the crime rate of cyber bullying (Whittaker and Kowalski,
2015).
CONCLUSION
The above case study is based on cyber bullying as it is very serious activity as it is known as the
biggest crime. And also it is a social cause. As it is a kind of harassment which affect people emotionally,
physically and mentally. This report has concluded many ways to prevent cyber bullying and also it has
been cover the importance of laws to protect cyber bullying as it is very serious matter and it affect the
health of the people.
