Importance of Cybersecurity
In the present era, most of the people connected with information technologies, such as mobile
phone, computer systems, laptops, and many other devices. Therefore, it is required to secure all the
information assets through cybersecurity. It is necessary for business as well because small businesses
are having unsecured computers and no firewalls in their network. Therefore, it is a possibility to affect
from malware and there will be so many side effects of this thing. In addition, companies should
increase their capabilities to secure their information assets.
Small business has some issues of security in their system because of less cost spend in the
cybersecurity and other software and hardware equipment. Beside it, they must consider these issues at
top priority and spend money to implement cybersecurity in their organization. According to (Andrijcic &
Horowitz, 2016), micro-businesses should secure their information assets from such types of risk s,
which is created because of less security of information systems.
Based on (Barkly, 2018), a small business should implement cybersecurity experts and software
and hardware to secure their assets. In addition, there should be an education and training program for
employees to secure system ( Bradford, 2018). In addition, large systems are also required cybersecurity
to secure whole systems (Cherdantseva, Burnap, Blyth, Eden, & Jones, 2016). Moreover, it is necessary
for big data and other data warehouse technologies to secure them using cybersecurity (Datameer,
2018). Furthermore, small businesses should hire certified persons to secure their information systems
from cyber-attacks (DeGroat, 2018).
