Problem Statement
Daimler-Benz Company has existing products in the market and others are requiring to be in the
process of production for the future date. Therefore, this means that it is a business model which
is in use today and it will be influenced or affected by the coming model due to the introduction
of the new products. All these operations are being handled by different departments in the
organization therefore, they will be a problem in the information flow concerning the services
and vehicles information. This has affected the Daimler-Benz Company in most cases because
the organization has been using different distribution channels in the market. The following is
the information which will be required for the product to distribute successful, therefore, being
misled. They include service information, diagnosis information, parts information, vehicle
information, car configuration data, work unit and damage codes in the organization. Using the
above distribution channel and the way information is presented, it will cause slow and
inefficient distribution making the channel unreliable (Tayebihaghighi, Piltan & Kim, 2018).

This problem of information flow in the Daimler-Benz Company is possible to be solved using a
quantitative analysis. Quantitative analysis methodology will emphasize the objective measures
and the numerical data analysis is required. This problem solving also it will need strong
decisions from the management (Behmer, Betancourt, Metros & Stevens, 2018). This has never
been handled in this organization, therefore the team has decided to solve this using the method
of quantitative methodology. The data which is required to be collected for the analysis includes
the sample of the information from different departments. This information will be conducted
using questionnaire and face to face interview. One questionnaire to be for each department and
interview to the different individual from the one who will fill the questionnaire. Use of the past

data record and observation also will be important in some departments (de Oliveira, Kim, Lanz
& Smolka, 2018). Also, the survey team in the organization is required to carry out viable
analysis of the number of customers who are using the product in the market. After collection of
data from the relevant departments, now the management should be ready to analyze it
systematic arriving at the solution.
Using quantitative research methodology in the process of problem-solving have several
advantages over the use of other means (Posey, Kandola, Pappu & Halfmann, 2018). The
following are benefits of using this methodology:
- The quantitative methodology provides a closely conclusive answer to the research
problem.
- After data is collected and evaluated using the right standards, the answer will be reliable
since it is a trustworthy method of finding the answer to the problem.
- Since this method requires a sample in making a decision, it makes the process easier by
generalizing the entire data to the target group.
- Use of quantitative methodology saves time and money of the organization. This is
because not all members of the organization will be involved in the decision making of
the collected data.
