INTRODUCTION
This report aim to developed and better understanding of the knowledge of business
management. The business management help the person to groom their professional life in very
effective way. So people become successful in their professional life. The people achieve their
goals and objectives because of the business management. This report includes the two different
semester on self reflection (Agrawal, Atasu and Van Wassenhove, 2019). The first semester
consist of different areas on business management like operational efficiencies of organization,
HR strategies, Quality control policies and supply chain, logistics. This all will discussed in brief
in this report and how much knowledge about in this areas before study this module and after
completing the module. Is anything in this module information which surprised me and why.
The second semester cover up the reflection on challenges which I faced while learning the
business operations management module. How it will help me to develop my knowledge and
better understand in this overall module. In which topic areas I enjoyed when I am learning in
this modules and how this module help me to develop my learnings. This all content of seconds
semester will be discussed in brief in this below report.
TASK
Semester 1
Operational Efficiencies of Organization
The operational efficiencies of organization state that it will improve the person lifestyle
that people utilise and manage their time very effectively so that they will able to help
organization to perform and complete their assign task very effectively. This improve the
productivity level in the enterprise (Akkaş and Gaur, 2022). In this management provide training
to their employees so that they gain proper knowledge.
HR Strategies
In organization the HR strategies are very important factors which provides the roadmap
to the management for solving the challenges which is arise in organization for running their
business operation activity. The HR is also responsible for preparing the policies for the
employees which help employees to sustain long term in organization and get good working
environment.

Quality Control Policies and Supply chain
This quality control policies and supply chain refers to the management need to maintain
the quality of their products so that they able to meet the expectation criteria of customers in the
market. The management need to make an effective policies regarding the quality of the products
so that customer can trust there quality of the products in market (Asef-Vaziri and Moghaddam,
2021). In supply chain the enterprise need to manage from raw material stage to deliver the final
products to the customers. The management is also responsible for the production flow of the
business operation.
Logistics
In logistics the management need to manage the organization resource like transportation
of the products, storing products. In this management also need to identifying the distributors
and suppliers for organization to manufacturing the products. The logistics management is
having the responsibility for finding out the best supplier in the market who supply the raw
material in low cost according to the market price. This all activity is involved and logistics
management need to perform in the organization.
What did I learn from this module and how much I have knowledge before and after studying
this module?
From this module I gain many knowledge in the business management field which help
me to perform my activity more effectively in the organization. This will improve my knowledge
in this field in very broad way. Before study in this module I have just knowledge about the
meaning and what is the responsibility they need to perform in the organization. But after
studying this module I gain proper knowledge about what function they need to perform and the
responsibility which management need to perform in the organization. Now it will clear what
are the different roles and function in this areas and I can now choose one particular field
according to my choice and interest (Choi, Wallace and Wang, 2018). So that I will improve my
skills more effectively which will enhance my performance level in the my life.
Which knowledge / information surprised me and why?
When I am studying this module then I get surprised to know the function and
responsibility of logistics management in the organization. Before studying this I was thinking
that logistics management just have to check the operation of the organization. But now I get to

know that logistics management is performing the primary and very important function in the
organization. If logistics management will not perform there activity properly then organization
have to suffer many problem while running their business operation. Now this will help to better
understand the every responsibility and function of logistics management. This knowledge and
information I will used in the organization when I get ant opportunity in the future and I am
capable to perform my assign task more effectively and responsibility.
Semester 2
What challenges did I faced in the 1 semester while studying introduction to business operations
Management module?
There were many challenges which I have faced during the study of this 1 semester. The major
challenges which I faced during the introduction of business operations management are as
follows:
 Researched work for gain more knowledge: I faced a lot of issues during the study of
1 semester is . So I had to go through the learning of research work and then I did all the
research work that was related with business operations management (Guha and Kumar,
2018). I did online research with the help of internet and I also involved some of my
friends in my work for help to better understand of
 Team making: It was a difficult task for me to make the proper team for my operations.
The main issue was that I was not able to find the correct and most effective or
appropriate people for my team as some of them lacked information or some of them do
not possessed sufficient knowledge about the subject matter.
How I used my knowledge from 1 semester to further develop your understanding in semester 2?
There has been a complete and great increase in my knowledge and wisdom while
completion of the first semester. There has been great improvement in my skills that I have seen
during the first semester. There has a gradual improvement in me as compared to before in my
team leading skills as I was always nervous and sacred to face people and never knew how to
manage people (Kumar, Mookerjee and Shubham, 2018). The first semester made me learn
about various human resource strategies along with various skills that were related with
management of people and team by making them coordinating and cooperating with each other
as well as cooperating with their seniors and colleagues. The first semester also provided me

knowledge about the various demand and supply chain requirements and other policies and
procedures that made the business transactions in the market easy and super easy reach and
availability of products and services in the market along with targeting more target audience.
How has the knowledge helped to improve their over all understanding the of business
management? Give examples of from your learning or work experiences which will
improvement in my knowledge and understanding.
When I am studying this module I am able to understand the functions and responsibility in brief
that how these areas is very important for organization. This will help me to improve my
knowledge and skills of the organization. This is very important me to develop my skills which
will help me in future to become successful in my journey of life. This will my professional life
more accurately and I have potential to perform my assign task with in given time frame (Luo
and Choi, 2021). For example If in future I have allot any task in my career then now I have
ability to complete my task with in given time period. This will help me to improve skills to
manage my time management and increase my knowledge which help me to improve my
working life experience in my carrier of life.
Which topic area did you enjoy the most? Explain why you enjoyed it?
The most enjoyable area of operation that for me was the Logistics management. This was the
only topics which I thought it was simple and there nothing more to learn. But when I study I get
to know about that in logistics there many things which I need to learn and get more knowledge
in this field (Xu, Peng and Prybutok, 2019). The logistics management is the main role functions
which management need to perform in the organization for development and growth of the
enterprise in the market. I think that logistics management is just responsible for management
products and delivering the products to the final destination. Now I become to know the logistics
operation is the most important function of the organization. In this management need to perform
many activities in the organization (Moynihan, 2018). This will increase my interest in the
logistics field because if I perform this responsibility then I get to learn so many things which
will improve my knowledge and experience in this field. This will help me to developed my
career in very positive way.

Which topic areas do you need to develop and learn more about?
I need to develop my skills in managing the work and completed in given time frame. I think in
logistics areas I need to developed my skills because in this field there are many skills is required
such as time management skills, leadership skills, decision-making skills, etc. (Torlak, Demir
and Budur, 2019). This all things I need to developed and when I am performing this
responsibility I need to improves in these things then only I become successful in this areas in
future which will help organization to developed and grow their business in market.
Explain how you will continue to develop your learning and understanding of these areas
I will use my knowledge in future to perform any activity which I learned from this module. This
is very important for me that I have to use my learnings in my professional in future so that I
make an effective decision-making in the organization which help me to grow and developed my
career in the organization (Xu, 2021). If I get any new opportunities in this areas then I am able
to perform my task more effectively and efficiently in the organization. This is very effective for
me to develop my experience and become expertise in this particular field.

CONCLUSION
From this above report it has been state that the self reflection is done on business operation
management. It will help me to better understand the knowledge of business management which
will cover in this report are operational efficiencies organizations, HR strategies, quality control
policies ad supply chain, logistics. This all content I will study in brief which will help to
understand the better function of this operation in the organization. If I get an opportunity in the
future regarding these areas. Then it will help me to developed my knowledge which is very
necessary for organization functions. This module will enhance my interest in logistics area
because in this all primary functions is involved of the organization. This will enhance my
experience and knowledge and get expertise after performing the task. The all learning which I
gained through this module will help in future to perform any task with more effectively. This is
very important for me to learn this module very effectively because it help me to grow my career
in future. If I properly gained knowledge and become expertise in this field then I am able to
complete my task with in given time frame. This will indirectly help me to achieve my objectives
of my life.
