INTRODUCTION
1.1 Overview
Cancer is among one of the serious cases where patients can not get cure easily. In this
disease, there is abnormal growth of the cells which can extend to other parts of the body. There
is no specific cure for this disease but there are more than 100 ways it cam affect person' s body.
Till 2015, more than 8.8 m people have lost there life due to this disease (Haghshenas and et.al.,
2014). There are many researches going on it, still scientists failed to identify the main reason its
actual cause. Harvard researchers, Ganmaa Davaasambuu, stated that, cancer to breast, prostate
and testicular can be caused due to natural estrogens from cow. Another scientists, Dr.
Davaasambuu have studied the relation between dairy consumption and cancer (Aune and et.al.,
2015). She identified that there more number of deaths from the age of 20 to 39 due to
consumption of such products. Moreover, she studied this data in more than 42 countries where
such products are consumed are higher rates (Green and et.al., 2014). To some researchers it has
been the protective food while for others is harmful. According to another scientist Prof Plant,
says that there are more than 35 different hormones found in cow's milk in which 11 have growth
factors. There are still no proofs whether cancer is caused due to it or not. Ji, Sundquist and
Sundquist have presented epidemiology studies from Lund University, Sweden showing that, for
lactose intolerance people must avoid the consumption of dairy products as its main reason for
lung, breast and ovarian cancers. Besides this, Song and et.al., have also presented epidemiology
from University of California-Los Angeles, USA showing that, prostate cancer was linked with
milk intake. Another researcher, Mourouti and et.al. from Greece have identified the relationship
between breast cancer and Dietary pattern in their online research. These epidemiologic
evidence strongly shows that diary products are causing cancer.
The present research proposal is based on the study of the above three epidemiologies. To
understand clearly about the diet high in diary products increases the hood of a cancer diagnosis
is evaluated from the given data.
1.2 Rationale of Study
Healthcare in today's scenario has been difficult to manage by the members of health
sector. Specifically, new research are carried out in the area of diseases. To analyse the impact of
diary products, scientists, doctors on cancer. Moreover, to understand the impact there has been
many depth research of above from year 2004-2014 (Ralston and et.al., 2014). The same analysis

is used in almost all researches that is gaps in the literature can be found in wide levels of
healthcare.
The rationale behind the research is that dietary fibre has been reason for cancer. The
research will provide the depth details about the topic. Research's finding and final outcomes will
help to understand that diary products are increasing cancer or not. Additionally, this research
will guide more in academic areas which are related to food consumption and health. It will
explore the needs to consuming the dairy products and how it affects to hormones of human and
causes cancer.
Research Question and its purpose
3.1 Research Aim
"Does a diet high in dairy product increase the like hood of a cancer diagnosis"
This research study is main focus about understand impact of diary products on humans and the
ways it is causing cancer. These will help me completing more research's about the topic.
3.2 Evidence based process.
Research Objectives
To achieve the aim of the study following objectives are illustrated and mentioned below:
To analyse the elements, enzymes and materials which are found in diary products.
To access the impact of diet high diary products on the health of humans hormones and
its cause to cancer. To recommend ways by which such impacts can be reduced or consumption of diary
products can be acceptable to all.
Research Questions
What are the elements found in diary products which are causing cancer.
Which hormones in human are mostly affected by the such products and how it leads to
cancer.
Suggest methods through which it can be reduced and ways by which dairy products can
be consumed by others.
3.2 Evidence Based process
For the study of the above research these was role performed by patients:
Steps 1 Why hormonal disorder is there due to consumption of diary products?
2

Which types of elements are found in dairy products that causes it?
How can this be prevented?
2 "Does a diet high in dairy product increase the like hood of a cancer diagnosis"
3 For the research qualitative process and primary and secondary method of data
collection is used. Questionnaire was also done at different areas to understand
depth of research.
4 The research is completely reliable as professional authors are used to evaluate the
report. Further, it can be used for the clinical purpose and as its is applicable.
5 Scientists, doctors have used the data and are recommending the ways so that
patients can prevented from such malformed. For example, they have
recommended patient having lactose intolerance that they should not consume
much of dairy products.
6 They were all supportive. They easily helped in collecting the data. Moreover, they
wanted to known the results of research which inspired us also.
3.3 Future contribution
The above research is reliable and can be used for the future study. Moreover, its patients
reviews to the study which is generally considered as primary sources of data. This data can be
used in other journals and articles or for the study purpose at higher level.
3.4 Research contribution to future research.
To nursing practise and continuous improvement programs, this research will to
understand specific role of dairy products and its constituents. Further, it will help to evaluate the
relationship between milk and cancer (Wellard, Hughes and Watson, 2016). Does it impact on
the human health or not. There is increase in risk in Colorectal and Prostate cancer if dairy
products are consumed. However, there is no significant impact on bladder and breast cancer of
person. Further, according to some research in Europe and US, there dairy products reduced the
impact of gastric cancer.

3.5 Support from others
Stanford University School of Medicine, USA has also researched on the similar studies.
They have identified that if milk having low fats level there will be higher level of risk to cancer.
However, if the consumption of higher fats is there then there will be lower risk. They have
supported in all aspects through their researches and guidance.
Literature Review
4.1
Following research is about the study of the dairy products and cancer diagnosis. Dairy
products consist of various products but when they are taken from the cows after 5 months then
the level of hormones increases (Thorning and et.al., 2016). Such hormones develop cancer in
humans. Mostly they causes impact to those areas where hormonal activities are more. From the
first research's journals they have provided details about the lactose intolerance where they
studied the sexual parts and lungs of people of Sweden. They found that people were in similar
numbers who have not taken the diary products. The research's was conducted by the three
person, they have collected the data from Swedish register and connected it to Swedish cancer
register. Then they have collected the standardized incidence ratio. On country to this, the second
research was done by Song'sn et.al., they have analysed different ways people intake the diary
products and related it the prostate cancer. Through there research it was concluded that people
have highly suffered due to it. They must take low-fat diary products to protect themselves from
such cases. Third research was done on the food patterns and breast cancer. For this mostly
women were considered as it is major in them. They found that there was no impact of such
things its the way that food is consumed by the people and the way it gets digested (Murphy and
et.al., 2013). All this helps to understand the ways by which people can be protected from such
dairy products. They are less impactful when consumed at lower fat.
Methodology
5.1 Data Collected
For the following research, different journals are referred which are based on this topic.
Further, they were analysed and depth details are taken from there.
5.2 Research Methods
For every research there are two methods by which data can be collected. For the current
research project qualitative and quantitative both aspects are taken. In terms of the Quantitative

data collection method, clinical trials, observation, relevant data, recordings, survey and closed-
ended questions were asked. It is random way of data collection which can be easily sorted and
compared. In Qualitative data collection, various journals, articles are used to evaluate the
research. Further, interview and questionnaire were asked for reliability of the research.
5.3 Type and size of people.
For the current report, the study is based on the people who are consuming the dairy
products or not. For the research, people from age group of 19-39 are selected. They are major
populations who are consuming the dairy products and having the cancer. Moreover, study
involved people from different areas (Geographic areas).
5.4 Data Collection Methods
For the current report, as most of the data collection is in qualitative form. Further, it is
accessed in the same nature. As there are two ways of data collection, primary and secondary
where primary referred to the interviews, survey and recordings. However, secondary data uses
the referred material. It means those which are written by others and used for the evaluation.
Primary data will be accessed through asking the question from the patients in the form of
questionnaire (Larsson and et.al., 2015). It helps to measure satisfaction level and stages of the
research. Secondary collection is done through articles, books, newspaper, journals, websites and
many more sites.
5.5., 5.6 Data Analysis plan
As data collection process involved qualitative process and primary and secondary data
collection methods are used so for the analysis, thematic analysis will be used. In this various
data are collected from different sources such as graph, tables and pictures etc.
5.7 Potential Use of data.
From the above research, it can help in two ways to the people. They can easily access
which type of dairy products causes which cancer. Further, it tells how they can be prevented
from such aspects (suggestion similar other product).
5.8 Accessibility Issues
For the reliability of the research and to ensure its vagueness reliable research reports are
considered (Lu and et.al., 2016). The secondary data are collected from Journals related to topic
and websites while primary data collection is done through accessing directly to customers.

Validity of the research
6.1 Validity
Validity is required so that data research is not affected by any factors. There are two
ways of validity, internal and externals. People from different geographic places, age group,
genders are considered in the research project. Further, some factors are independent such as
number of people chosen in research, areas, history and emotional level while some are
dependent such as response of independent people. They indirectly affect the study.
6.2
Obstacle_1: The study doesn't show the food consumption of the animals from which dairy
products are taken.
Solution: Veterinarian and pedology experts can help to understand changes in food cycle and
impact of pollution on it.
Obstacle_2: Other medical conditions of those people was unknown.
Solution: Medical diagnosis of those people and the area can help in that case.
6.3 Strength
Due to large number of people, data collection was easy and details of that areas can be
easily accessed.
6.4 Weakness
As there were large number of people, measuring tools were less to evaluate all.
6.5 Validity
As there was lack in resources so to increase the validity, more latest measuring tools and
people of different geographic areas would be selected by me to evaluate the research (Aune, and
et.al., 2013).
6.6 Quality of study
For the quality of study:
What commitment were taken before doing this research?
How have you managed to track your mistakes?
Ethical, cultural and religious considerations
7.1
Physical needs: People who loved to eat dairy products will have to avoid it.
Solution: They can replace it other products like soya milk can be used.
6
Document Page
Emotional need: Those who do not known that they are affected by such products.
Solution: Implementing new ways can help to cure them.
7.2 & 7.3
For conducting the research ethical considerations are taken care (Liu and et.al., 2015).
Values, belief of customers was not broken and before research they were told the reason for
conducting it. Further, there details are kept private. Moreover, ANMC Code of Conduct,
Ethics, standards, Nurses act, and others are taken care.
7.4
All the policies are taken care while conducting the research such as Determining Authorship
and Resolving Disputes between Authors and Code of conduct for the responsible practice of
research.
7.5,7.6,7.7.
For the validity and reliability, ethic approval from the university has been taken (Qin
and et.al., 2016). Through proper guidance and care they were detailed about the research. For
maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of the participants proper devices were used for data
collection methods were used. Further, only responsible people are allocated such tasks.
Reflection
From the above research, relationship between diary product and cancer can be analysed.
Further, this helps to know that which elements in diary products causes cancer. The result of the
above research project suggest that consuming the dairy products are not harmful, they must be
consumed but in limited manner.
