Applied Statistics Report: Analysis of Nottingham Property Data

This report presents an analysis of Nottingham property letting data, focusing on the variables of Type, Price, and Furnish. The data preparation involved variable selection and data cleaning, including handling null values and converting data types. Descriptive analysis was conducted using plots and tables to understand the distribution of the Price variable and its relationship with Type and Furnish. Three regression models were developed to investigate the relationship between Price and the other variables: Price-Type, Price-Furnish, and Price-Type-Furnish. The Price-Type-Furnish model was identified as the best fit based on residual plots and adjusted R-squared values. The report concludes with the findings from the best model, highlighting the significance of Type and Furnish in determining property prices and the limitations of the model in explaining the full relationship.
