1. Requirements of doctor’s practice
1.1 Business context of doctor’s practice
General Practices provides profitable medical consultations as they are most
experienced medical experts in Australia. As per NSW Health Department of Australia,
General Practices are the drivers of the healthcare sectors. The nature of the business
market is that General Practices have better understanding of the healthcare and diseases
(Greenway Prime Suite, 2019). They have knowledge of healthcare promotion and
coordinate with the clinical team members in case of any medical issues.
The challenges they face are that they have little understanding of socio-economic
elements of the healthcare sector. In to the healthcare industry, General Practices take
constraints in their consultation field such as time pressure to consult their patients, home
visits, and impractical community expectations, difficult to manage the patients,
interruptions of phone calls at the time of consultation and intrusion of work on the
family life. The social and ethical circumstances where they are operating are they can
follow healthcare ethical standards, support and coordinate flexibility with each patients
and healthcare providers.
1.2 Areas of breakdown and problems in the practice
In the healthcare practice, the problems are in area of the healthcare when the General
Practices face threat of litigation, paperwork, limitation of time to work, cost of the
practice overheads and negative media comments.
1.3 Processes and services they perform
General Practices are referring the patients for future treatment and further investment
when it is required. They are trained to perform diagnosis of the physical conditions of

the patients. The services they perform are that helping the society to prevent from the
diseases and also providing knowledge on the healthy lifestyle to the patients and society.
1.4 Key stakeholders, needs and requirements
In the healthcare sector, the key stakeholders in this case are doctors and General
Practices. Their needs are flexible and healthy workplace where they can treat the
patients, remote access, better mobility in the health environment and accessibility
features (Ford et al., 2016). The requirements of key stakeholders are use of healthcare
software, software application by means of user friendly GUI, easier to understand
healthcare application and with better functionality.
2. Software package solutions- vendor and software
2.1 Vendor offering software solutions
The selected software vendor in Australia is PrimeSuite Software Solution which will
continue to evolve to meet with the healthcare needs. It is helpful software for General
Practices, Specialist and healthcare practitioners.
Greenway’s Software PrimeSuite has created by the development team based on two
of the principles. The first principle is that the software is easier to use. The second
principle is that it encounters between doctor as well as patient so that it cannot slow
down. Greenway retained five of the doctor’s as their full time consultants. The
physicians have knowledge for creating system that mimics event flow of the visits of
patients (Prime Suite, 2019). The medical diagnosis suggestions are based on entered
symptoms, yet it allows for customization of the responses.

2.2 Background
PrimeSuite is Greenway’s electronic health record. It is a cloud based clinical drivel
EHR system which can customize alignment with documentation, billing as well as
reporting requirements of the general practice. The products are PrimeMobile,
PrimePatient, PrimeExchange, and PrimeResearch.
2.3 Functions they offer
The functions are included:
Patient charts: It can track each aspects of the history of patients into single record.
ePrescribing: It allows for appointments of the patients and transmits it electronically
to the patients.
Schedule: It creates appointments of the patients and provides views for the schedules
for entire healthcare organization.
Patient registration: It can speed for new registration as well as merges for the patient
data with the healthcare records.
Message: It can enables the staffs to track plus manage the electronic
communications.

Greenway made the solution based on three architectures such as web based
application, open standards and flexible hosting solutions.

In order to implement the application, the risks which are identified are security and
privacy, payment risk, improper navigation, increase in cost and expenses, ineffective
conversion of data, incompatibility of the system and increase in workloads because of
lack of training (Palvia, Jacks, & Brown, 2015). There are also risks included loss and
theft of data, data manipulation along with system failure due to improper maintenance of
the system, if those risks are occurred, then there is improper implementation of software
application into the healthcare industry.
2.7 Costs and benefits of the solution
There is free of cost for the installation of the software while monthly charges are
included for using this services. The price is varied based on additional users and
selection of the services. The subscription charges are being billed on monthly basis to
the service user. The benefits of this solution are that it is automated, less require of
paperwork, easier to interact, improve referral processes and save the time of the users.
2.8 Proceed with implementation project
PrimeSuite offers different types of products and solutions to their users based on
their demand. Following are the processes which are required to proceed before
implementation of software solution in healthcare such as:
I. The company provides demo version of their product to the customers. There is no
such contract even after the trial period which is for 30 days.
II. The user has to fill up registration form by entering their first and last name, email
address, phone numbers, date of birth and other personal details.

III. The Brower asks for the current system configuration and after submission, the user
receives a call or email from the company in 24 hours to confirm their details which
are provided by them.
IV. After that, the process system takes several minutes for setting the personalized
account to create database.
V. This database allows the user to share information with general practice or doctor
when they need. They can do it from anywhere as well as anytime.
