1. What is network protocol?
The protocol is considered as a set of rules which helps to govern communications between
computer networks as well. In order to effectively manage the networks or ethically working
within the rules & regulations so far, a protocol is settled as well. There would be different types
of network protocol for each type of network such as WANs, LANs & wireless communications.
The telecommunications network set, which is called a TCP/IP, considered as the most important
protocol for telecommunications so far.
TCP would be responsible for arriving the proper order on accurate schedules. IP would be
responsible for effectively delivering the packets from node to node as well.
2. Which medium enables the fastest data communication?
There are several types of data communication medium working which will easily manage fast
data communication. It includes two basic main types which are tangible or intangible as well
such as twisted pair cable, radio waves, optical fiber and electric power lines (BPL) as well.
When it comes to the fastest data communication medium, optical fiber is having highest
bandwidth so it is considered as the highest speed which will be helpful to enable the fastest data
communication as well. It is able to communicate the fastest data with this medium within the
networks of telecommunications so far.
3. What does it mean to cleanse the data before it is stored in a data warehouse?
In various business operations, the data would be collect and dissect for many different purposes
as well. In database format, the data will be stored which has easy access and available for use in
future so far. The database technology will be helpful to not only store the data but safety of the
data as well. Before storing the data to the warehouse, the cleansing has to be done which means
removing the unnecessary elements from the data in order to improve the quality features.
Remove or change the data elements which are not aligned as per the predefined data quality
before transfer it to the data warehouse as well.
