INTRODUCTION
Managing Data is very crucial and the basic computation should be known by every
person for their daily routine activities (Abiodun, Anisi and Khan, 2019). Several duties related to
using and maintaining information and data are carried out in this report. Data are numerical and
qualitative rows of facts and numbers, while data is organized and arranged data that supports
choice. The tasks in this paper are carried out using fundamental mathematical ideas.
MAIN BODY
Task1
(A) It is stated that a fence may be painted in 3 hours by 8 workers. In other words, a fence can be
painted in 3 to 8 hours by one person. Assuming that everyone works at the same pace, the
following calculation can be used to determine how long it took 12 people to paint the fence.
= 3/8 * 12
= 4.5 hours.
(B) The number of tyres sold in July and the revenue attributable to those sales are disclosed.
No. of tyres sold by the tyre seller = 510
Revenue from selling 510 tyres = 25500
Therefore, revenue generated by 1 tyre will be = 50.
If 670 tyres are sold by the tyre seller at the same price that is £50 per tyre, total revenue will
generate,
= 670 * 50
= £33500.
(C) It is stated that a 200 m long road was constructed by a total of 12 persons over the course of
5 days. The time needed by 20 persons to construct a 400 m long road can be computed as
follows: - 1 man can construct a 1-meter road in 1 hour:
time is taken by 1 man to build 1m long road
= 5*12 / 200
= 0.3 day
Total time taken by 20 men to build a road of 400m long
= 5*12*400 / 200 * 20
= 6 days
