INTRODUCTION
Data Modeling is a process or method for creating a data model to store large number
information in the database system. It is conceptual data model that represents in the form of data
objects and association between the different data objects. Data modeling technique help in the
terms of visual representation of data which enforces the enterprise rules, government policies,
regulatory compliance's on the data. This assignment will describe the different range of test and
development tools. This report will discuss about the current industry which accepted ICT
software and hardware products. Furthermore, this assignment will describe the features and
functions of mapper process and determine that what technique and process help in the logical
design concept. At last, this report will summarize the particular business domain of “The Burn
24hour Challenges” to find the strategic goals, organization chart, structure and annual report.

1. Range of development and test tools
Development and test tools are important concept in the business process that support to
check the overall functionality of software. Development team can use the testing tool to assess
whether software is usable, meet the goals and objectives, performed properly etc. It includes
other test management solution such as project management software, bug tracking etc, these are
applicable in the software that support and maintain the collaboration between developer and
tester. Tool help to monitor the testing activities and also analyze the results or outcomes
(Cosenz and Noto, 2018). The most effective solution to offer dashboard, reporting.
Testers are expected to be included with the developer from day when one developer also
expected to work with quality assurance during the testing tasks. There are different type of
testing tools used in the organization for performing task. It helps to create test cases when
worked with this Test Rail tools. It is user friendly interface and comprehensible button that
carefully through system of switching among the contiguous features.
Test Rail- this testing tool was developer by the Gurock Softwood company and also planning to
test the system. It is the most successful tool in the product testing. It is a web based test
management tools that can use by tester and developer to hold the testing efforts, manage and
track. It follows a specific centralized test management concept that help in communication and
enables rapid development.

It performed different type of operations such as
 Executing the testing based on the test case scenarios.
 Create a bug in the system.
 Upload the integrated bug trackers such as Youtrcak, JIRA and GitHub etc.
 Create projects.
 Make a comprehensible and dynamic informative report
 It customized the system when using to open Test Rail application.
JIRA and Zephyr tool- These two tools could be analyses in separately. JIRA has limited
choice for test cases writing the services. It is the perfectly and best integrated bug tracker tool
such as Zephyr. Many developers can use JIRA tool to focus on the bug tracker and control the
development process in effective manner (Enrique and et.al., 2018). It is a native application
that exists in JIRA and brings the best quality of test management capabilities to any JIRA
project. Tester mainly used the combination in two ways to provide the full services on the based
of functionality of test management tools.

 Cloud9 IDE- Cloud9 IDE is an online integrated development environment, which is
published as open source from version 2.0 until version3.0. It supports multiple
programming languages, including c, c++, PHP, Ruby, perl, Python, Javascript etc.
 Dreamweaver CS6- It is a web design software provides the intuitive visual interface for
making and edditing html websites and mobile applications. In order to create the
adaptive layouts, fluid Grid layout is designed for the cross platform compatability.

2. Summaries current industry accepted ICT hardware and software products standards.
Information communication technology is based on the modern concept that can help to
increase the business process all over the world. There are standards hardware and software
products uses in the real time functionality wherever ICT product provide the real time service,
two way communication (Pratt-Chapman and Burhansstipanov, 2018). Real time text is a basis
term that proposed the rules as a text that transmitted character by character. RTT recipient can
easily read the message while it is being written without waiting for the message to be
completed.
ICT hardware-
Hardware is the important component of organization where ICT technology can use the
hardware devices to share the data from one place to another. It involves monitor, keyboard,
Mouse, Printer, Trackball, microphones, digital camera etc. these are different type of devices
that applicable in the network system to sent data in the form of signals (Stallman and Kavanagh,
2018). Every hardware has performed different functions to maintain the flow of information in
proper manner. For Example- Local area network is a type of concept that can use variety of
devices in data transmissions. They also control their flow of data because it helps to control the
unwanted traffic in signals. Latest ICT used in this technological world is ICTDialer3.0 which is
mainly released with the replacement of plivo framework. It is a unique and complete solution
which consists of various features such as Mass, Voice, Sms, email and Fax broadcasting

ICT Software-
Software is the combination of different programs that can use hardware to make system

purpose of information communication technology and expansion of LTE and movement
towards the technology. It is completely acquired the innovation of technology to handle the
business task in proper manner. This ICT uses for new high teaching services provided.

3. Features and function of process Mappers
Mapping process is usually based on the planning and management tool that visualize to
describe the flow of work. It mainly used the mapping software that shows as series of event to
produce a specific results (Takahashi and et.al., 2018). This process is also known as process
chart, functional diagram etc. It provides the business flows diagram that involves in the form of
business and different areas.
The purpose of this process in the organization to improve the efficiency and
performance. It provides the insight into process that help the team brain storm ideas towards
improvement and also increase the communication.
Functions-
In this process, the input data from the user passed to the mapper which are specified by
the input format. It is specified in the driver code. Every mapper deals with the single input that
split into different ways. Record readers are the objective which is the part of input format that
easily extract record from the input source. This process will help to create large number of small
chunk of data.
Features-
 This process is created a list of information with a standard structure that allows for
searching and sorting the flow of business.
 Mapper process has produced multiple documents and reports in specified format or
structure.
 It is the simple process when employee can use them to find the accurate results or
outcomes.
 This process is representing the predefined symbol that can use in the business to
represented as an appropriate entities and their attributes.
4. Describe the processes and techniques by using the logical design concepts related to the
designing process models.
To design an application and other database system which requires logical concept that
deals with the large amount of data arrange into a series. It also creates logical relationship such
as entities and attributes (Vuorinen and et.al., 2018). Entity represents in the form of chunks
which map into a table. Business process is follows the coordinate set of activities designed to

produce a specific result or outcome. There are different type of process and technique help in
designing in the business activities.
Logical process modeling-
It is the representation of organization process that detailing the activities in the process
from gathering the data at initial level and reached to desire result. There are different type of
activities performed by the logical process.
 Collecting and gathering the data through the different sources
 Controlling the access to data at the time of execution.

Physical Process modeling-
This type of process is specified the topology, information, rules of enterprise and roles

modeling.

The process of DFD is a way of representing a flow of data of a system such as
Information system. It also provides the information about inputs and outputs of each entity and

the flow of data in a business Information system. This process in involved in a system to trasfer
data from one input to the file storage and report generation.
The process can be determined by physical system construction requirements. There are
various levels which are used to describe the data in more details.

6. Discuss modeling rules and conventions with reference to naming processes and events.
Every business has existing the modeling rules while developing the need and
requirement of use cases. In order to enter in the process to determine the event type along with
the increases amount which allows for each team members.
Process-
All the process should be specified with an appropriate name. A resource is going to
perform different process such as rider participants in the event that should be describe on the
basis of their score (Vuorinen and et.al., 2018). The riders are general entity in the business
scenario that control the overall activities with the process. It is associated with other event to
perform variety of operations and functions in proper manner.
Events-
In business process diagram, all the event should be named in proper manner. There are
different type of events performed while, all the team members are participated to play games.
Every event should be named with proper manner. They are linked within events that paired, one
catching event and many other sending event should be used the same. For Example-
Participants are requested to the rider for registration in the process. This process is accepts the
rider request to complete all the data store procedures in database system. In this way, it easily
accesses the team event information to get the specific results or outcomes.
Process can be as simple as collecting input data and saving the database. Every process
has a name that identifies the functions which it performs. The name consist of a verb, followed
by a single noun. The name of the process can be determined by the various things which are:
Context Diagram-Level 0 this need to fit in one page. The process name in the context
diagram should be the name of Information system. The context level diagram gets the number
0. Use unique names within each set of symbols. No cross lines in DFD, as there is one way to
restrict the number of processes among all elves of DFD.
Quality control process intended to ensure the product quality or performed service in
order to meet the defined set of criteria. The quality control process is divided into three separate
process:IQC (Incoming quality control), IQPC (In-process quality control), OQC (Outgoing
quality control)

7. Business domain for “The Burn 24hour challenge”
Mission statements- Main mission of organization is providing the service for people to free
register on bike which is quickly processed. The company mission to give the opportunities for
people to directly check the service and can do registration on the bike riders events. This
organization is mainly used the marketing tools to advertise their services in marketplace.
Strategic goals
A strategic goal of business to drive the priority setting, capability, resource allocations and other
budget activities. The Burn 24hour challenge firm is primary goals to provide facility and
services. It also provides the free registration to participate at any event and also store the
information of each events.
