Introduction
The report is all about National University, which is leading organization of Melbourne,
Australia. The university aims to offer diploma course, both undergraduate and postgraduate
degree programs in various disciplines like information system, information technology,
Business and Arts and Humanities (Dora & Dubey, 2015). National University is planning to
build an enrolment system which helps in managing the overall enrolment in the whole academic
year. As soon as the student gets enrolment in this university is selecting among the list of
courses that are being offered to them (Jindal, 2016). The new enrolment system will have all the
required details that are being provided by the student.
The upcoming section of the report aims to highlight both analysis and design of new
enrolment system concerning SDLC model. The next part of the report aims to deal concerning
feasibility of the given project. The last section of the report deal with drill down of the given
project of implementing new enrolment system.
Discussion
Analysis and Design of SDLC
For improving the overall facility of student at National University Administration
department. The university has come up with the idea of managing the enrolment by making use
of enrolment system (Kahng, Fang & Chau, 2016). The required system will display all the given
available courses from which student can easily select in between 3-4 courses along with class
timing. Software Development Life Cycle comes with five steps, which are needed for
implementing a system for meeting the needs of the student at this University. The main goal of
SDLC is to provide best quality of system so that it can meet the needs of student. The mere

focus is all about providing best kind of work in better way (Kumar, 2018). SDLC can be stated
as a model which comprises of different policies and procedure required for system
development. SDLC is mainly needed for analysts so that an information system can be easily
developed. SDLC model comes up with series of steps like
Analysis of Planning and Requirement: It is known to be as one of most important step
and vital stage in whole SDLC model. It is completely done by the senior members of team
where input is made from the customer end (Nazir & Nazir, 2018). The collected information
from the University is needed for building plan for the enrolment process of student.
Understanding the needs: As soon as the required analysis is complete, the very next is
all about defining the need for the product. It is mainly needed for getting approval of the higher
authorities at this university (Rastogi, 2015). This particular step is completed by the help of
software requirement specification (SRS).
Design of Product: It is all about reference of the given product that has best kind of
architecture that is needed for product development. The complete design of the product is
achieved by the help of architecture of product (Rather & Bhatnagar, 2015). The complete design
documentation for the enrolment system at National University is provided.
Development of Enrolment System: In this particular step, the real development of
product comes into picture. The complete programming code is generated in accordance with
DDS during this particular step (Roy, Dasgupta & Chaki, 2016). Developers need to follow the
required coding guidelines that are completely defined by the National University.
Testing of Enrolment System: In this stage, a list of subset is made in the present model
of SDLC. All the activities are mainly involved in this particular step of SDLC model (Sarvghad,

Tory & Mahyar, 2016). This particular step is all about testing of given product where defect
products are taken into account.
Deployment of Enrolment System and Maintenance: As soon as the enrolment system is
completely tested. It is ready for deployment at National University (Wongsuphasawat et al.,
2017). The given product is tested in the present business environment.

Feasibility of the Project
Feasibility can be stated as a method analysis which taken into various factors of a
project that is implementing enrolment system at National University. It is merely inclusive of
various aspects like economic, technical and schedule (Edwards et al., 2015). It is mainly needed
for completing the given product that is enrolment system at National University. Project
Managers will make for understanding the overall feasibility of the project before investment of
huge amount of money. It is expected that the new enrolment system at National University will
help bring huge improve the convenience of the given database of the system (Moritz et al.,
2015). The new enrolment system focus on collecting and storing all the given details concerning
closure for this university. It is expected that the new system at National University can easily
store all the given details for the student coursework (Wu, 2016). It is needed for providing
student right before the enrolment step that is more specifically the payment.
The new enrolment system will provide the student a list of choice to make in between
three to four courses for any given semester. This new system will help the student to all required
kind of change, starting from the date of processing (Erraguntla et al., 2017). In case, if the
complete payment is made by credit or debit card mode, student is required to provide all the
given details like CVV and expiry date of the card. In this system, all the required details of card
are properly stored where only OTP is needed for making future payment. In next stage, the
student does not require any kind of details of card (Kahng, Fang & Chau, 2016). Enrolment
system aims to have all the data with academics for various courses under this university.
Drill Down of the Project
Drill down helps in making the report so that it can become powerful and very much
useful. Concerning business intelligence, drill down is known to be a very much important tool

(Kumar, 2018). Drill down report is needed by user so that it can provide ability for analysing
information and required data in depth. It is needed by user that helps in analysing information
and required data. Drill down is the overall capability that helps have general view of any given
data. The whole thing is possible in just one click of the mouse from the user end. For example,
the overall number of students that have taken admission in National University can be achieved
by click on required state (Nazir & Nazir, 2018). In this, user can have an idea concerning
overall sales report can be achieved by the help of ground stated. In this, different levels of drill
down report for enrolment system at National University can be easily supported by all the given
data.
Drill down report comes up with huge number of advantages like
 It will help have depth data concerning student interest in admission in National
University (Rastogi, 2015). Drill down report help in having much of important data of
the student.
 Drill down will be used in having all the data of student from user. It is mainly needed for
improving the overall process of performance for various user. It will help the student
with list of feature like drill down for loading server (Rather & Bhatnagar, 2015). This
will merely improvise the overall data concerning performance.

required change in the given graph type will ultimately help in making changes in the dataset.
