Success for any organization is determined by the manner in which its data is stored.
Construction and the use of a warehouse is generally what we call the data warehousing which
results from the integration of the data from a variety of sources heterogenous in nature and
supporting the reports analysis, query structures and the decision-making processes. For analysis
purposes, data warehouses provide all the support needed in achieving the functions of business
intelligence since it provides a location which is centrally placed and a storage which is
permanent for all the sources of data within the organization [1]. This data can be obtained from
the systems within the operational aspects of business or other sources derived externally.
1.2 Why Data Warehouse
The main reason why data warehouse should be implemented in every organization is the
fact that it aids in the data analysis. Through the data analysis, the concerned managers will be
able to make informed decisions about the business hence improving its operations. On the other
hand, they can provide storage to all the historical data [2]. The necessity of having a data
warehouse is the creation of a permanent space for storage of data meant for business
intelligence operations hence better decision making.

much precious time is utilized in making decisions hence saving on money too.

Activities such as the management of the inventory and the assets, the allocation of the
financial resources and the sales management is best achieved through the use of the warehouse.
The managerial stuff finds it easy to make use of the data warehouse for the purpose of decision
making [3]. Through the provision of the unlimited data source, the warehouse enhances all the
activities of decision making and generally the overall intelligence of the business.

The general perspective of the business operations has created stiff competition and is
continuously progressing. For a business to gain stability and benefit from the competitive world,
data warehouse should be a priority for all its operations. Any business with a vission to prosper
should focus in producing high quality, efficient and effective data. Thorough this, the business
