Report
AI Summary
This report provides a detailed overview of the implementation of an Access database, focusing on various aspects of its functionality. It begins by mentioning the creation of a database named "softwareDB" and the "entervalues" table, emphasizing the manual input of values. The report then explains the process of creating new tables, including the option to create a table for a single database and the role of reports in displaying database components. It highlights the use of the expression builder for generating formulas and the different views available for reports, such as Report view, Layout view, and Design view. The report also covers how to modify reports using the Layout view and how to handle situations where field data is not visible. The report concludes by referencing the sources used for the content. It gives detailed information about the Access database and its features.

Implementation
The below screenshot displays the name of database named softwareDB ("INTRODUCTION
TO THE ACCESS DATABASE", 2002).
The below screenshot shows the “entervalues” table that is created. The values are provided
manually.
Specify the name of new table and if a new database is to be created then the process needs to
proceed (C.L.Napier, 2007). If there needs to create a table for a single database, the it is
necessary to specify the location of it.
Reports provide the capability to current components of the database (Cronan & Sandberg,
2007).

It is provided as an easy-to-read and printable format.
MS-Access used to create reports from both queries and tables.
The below screenshot shows the expression builder dialog box in which the formula is entered it
is shown below in the screenshot. The formula is generated for x1 value (Broeck & Cuypers,
2014).

Generally, a report has
Report view
Layout view
Design view and
Print Preview.
A report can be modified in Layout view or in Design view. In the Layout view, data and the
report, it resembles how the report should look like when the print option is given to it. The
needed changes can be made in it and the needed changes can be updated automatically when
save option is given. Design view shows the structure of the report ("Access 2013: Creating
Reports - Full Page", 2017). In this view, user cannot see the underlying data, but you can
perform some tasks in Design view that you cannot perform in the Layout view. This mainly
focuses on the Layout view.
To change to Layout view:
1. Open report.
2. Trigger Home tab
3. Click View button. Then a menu appears.
4. Then finally Click Layout View. Access changes to Layout view.
Change the Size of a Label
If the data or information in a field is not clear or it shows pound symbol then data in the field
or label does not appear any values, this is because the label is too short.
