1. Overview
This project is intentionally carried out to develop the datacenter design. In this section,
the detailed process of implementation of the proposed plan is described with the adequate tools
and technologies.
2. Work Breakdown Structure
In this section the detailed work breakdown structure of the datacenter development
project is described. The below given work breakdown structure clearly explains about the
various processes involved in the project. This project contains three major activities. And they
are Data center design development, data center implementation process, and data center
commissioning. All the three processes are carried out by the six major mile stones. And the
major milestones are illustrated in the below figure.

project is described. The below given work breakdown structure clearly explains about the

1. Initial Requirement Analysis
In this phase, the initial design requirements and problem overviews are identified. Also,
the financial risks of the implementation process also analyzed in this step.
2. Design Development
Design development process is the long process, it consumes the higher time to complete.
The design process starts with the process of selecting the site for the data center construction.
After that, the power requirement of the various systems is found. Simultaneously the HVAC
design also developed. Here the overall cooling load required for the system is identified. After
the HVAC design, the floor plan for the data center is developed. The developed data center
floor plan accommodate the various needs of the system. And finally, the security system design
also carried out in this phase.

3. Development of Implementation Plan
After developing the data center plan, we have to develop the implementation strategy.
The proposed implementation strategy describes the procurement process planning, human
resources planning, etc. During the Implementation planning, the various practical difficulties
involved in the implementation process are considered. Based on that the implementation
strategy will be developed.
4. Implementation
The implementation process is just follow up process carried after developing the
implementation plan. Here we need to follow the actual implementation plan. In this case, all the
hardware and software devices are coordinated. This process starts with the procurement process.
5. Testing
In this stage, the entire system’s performance is tested. Here we need to conduct the test
to the each and every component individually as well as the group. Here the performance of the
system tested on the worst-case scenario. After the complete testing, the commissioning process
of the data center gets started. In the first two years, only the one-fourth of the capacity of the
data center is utilized. Then the value is increased gradually till the system reaches its full
capacity.
6. Maintenance
In the data center, the maintenance is an important process. In this project, the preventive
maintenance strategy will be used. This strategy helps to reduce the downtime of the data center.
Because the data center downtime causes huge losses to the company. The developed
maintenance plan ensure the minimum possible downtime for maintenance of the system.
