The nail polishes that have been created to detect the different kind of the drugs are
important for the detection of any kind of drugs like that of GHV, Ketamine or Rohypnol
within the drinks (www.youtube.com). The technology is simple as the nail polish is dipped
into the drink and the drink changes its colour, it can be easily said that the drink is
contaminated with drugs. The different kinds of the date rape drugs generally are used in a
fraction of the different types of the sexual assaults that are committed (www.youtube.com).
However such instances can still be very dangerous for people as they tend to make the
person totally unconscious and provide the perfect opportunity for the assaulter to commit the
crime easily. The goal of the following nail polish is to create innovative technologies that are
capable of empowering women to prevent such crimes against them.
 How much do you know about the date rape crimes?
The Date rape drugs have been a menace for the people as the likes of GHV Ketamine
or Rohypnol are colourless and odourless drugs which are mixed with the drinks to make the
person unconscious. Though there have been lots of researches and studies on these drugs
and their nature, very little is known about them. According to, Nowak (2018) the actual
information and the way these drugs perform are still unknown. This makes their detection as
well as creation of preventive measures much more difficult. Different researches have
shown that GHV test was not adequate as alcohol also contains GHB which makes it more
difficult to detect.
