Introduction
The Great Barrier Reef is one of the Seven Wonders of the natural world which is larger than
great wall of China and which is the only living thing that can be visible from space. Whitsunday
Islands which are popularly known as “The Whitsundays” is an island chain off the east coast of
Queensland, Australia (Aleksandrova Georgieva, 2017). Every year thousands of whales
migrated to east coast of Australia and one can enjoy by viewing them at the Whitsundays. In
this context, the article will focus on hospitality sector that operating within the Whitsundays
with reference to Daydreams resorts. Daydream resort located at Whitsundays is a luxurious
resort which is offering special offers in vacations time.
Main Body
Hospitality sector plays crucial role in growth and development of national economy. The sector
includes hotels, resorts, guest houses that provide accommodation and facilities to guest coming
from both outside and within the country (Chen and Lin, 2014). As Whitsunday is considered as
popular tourist destination in Australia, million of tourists visits the island to enjoy the sea shore
and Great Barrier Reef (Birch, 2015). There are many inland and mainland resorts and hotels
established in islands of Whitsunday. These resorts provide employment to thousands of
employees and thus aid in boosting up the national economy of the country. The environmental
factors that impact on hospitality sector is described below: Political: Frequent changes in the policies of government impact on the daily operations
of hospitality sector of Australia (Leib, 2014). Economical: The economic condition of Australia is efficient and due to increase in
tourists, Hospitality sector able to flourish at Whitsundays (Litvin, Yen and Uysal, 2016). Social: Customers constant changes in taste and preference affects the productivity and
sales of hospitality sectors at Whitsunday. Technological: Due to increase in technologies and innovations, the hospitality sector
able to attracts more and more customers towards Whitsundays (Cheer and Lew, 2017). Legal: Hospitality sector have to follow numerous laws and regulations regarding health
and safety, environmental protection and consumer safety (Liu and et.al., 2016).

Ecological: Hospitality sector at Whitsundays are responsible for ensuring protection of
natural resources and habitats.
Through constant innovation, technological development the hospitality sector at Whitsundays
able to meet the changing demands of customers adequately (Wilson, 2014). Now, the hotels and
resorts uses high tech system, provide 24 hour internet services to the guests and all those
luxurious facilities that enhances the guest experience at Whitsundays.
CONCLUSION
From the above article, it can be understood that hospitality sector plays crucial role in
the growth and development of national economy of Australia. With increase in visitors at
Whitsundays, the hospitality sector is flourishing greatly. The management with the help of
advance technologies and adaptation able to enhance the guest experience effectively and
efficiently. Furthermore, Whitsundays and Great Barrier Reef are exotic place where guests can
relaxed and enjoy the natural environment efficiently.
