In an organization employees gain different type of experience. These experiences are
related to the operations, function, people and work place. The experience of employee in
organization is most crucial for them. Job experiences of person develop their mind set in the
business world. There are different challenges are faced by employee can help them in different
manner (Frone, 2015). This report is providing brief of experience that is faced by store
assistance at Decathlon. Decathlon is a multinational sporting store that is operating on 1520
locations in 52 countries. This report is explaining job experience of a store assistance at
Decathlon retail store. Importance of effective communication will be explained in the report
along with performance improvement process of employees. The reflection of team working and
communication process will be provided in report.
This is very challenging top work on a sporting store. There I have to face different
challenges on daily basis which was very difficult to handle. The main challenges in an
operational store are related to the handling of consumer and communicate with them to know
their need and provide them with proper response to get better result to the employer by
increasing sales for company (Valero and Hirschi, 2016). To perform with higher success rate it
is important for employee to have communication skills in order to know the needs and
requirement of customer. This is our duty to handle the consumers in the store and provide them
with proper product to improve their experience. This is important for them to make them loyal
for organization to meet the future targets of company. This experience can be explained with
help of answering various question that can help the provide relevant data about personal
experience.

Purpose of Returning this Situation The purpose of returning to this topic is to explain
my work experience in the Decathlon sport store. There are different experience I have gained in
the store. All I want to know, how the challenges of store helped to improve my communication
skills. It is about evaluation of job experience. I have experienced that by performing this job I
have learned different things that supported me to improve my communication and people
handling skills. By working in store I have learned that how to handle people in a sotre and help
them to know their needs, As I found that this job was challenging for me and this is not easy to

handle different conditions in store but, with continuity in working I have developed the
tendency to deal effectively with people. Some people on the floor are very efficient at working
and some of them are not (Lee and Jung, 2018). The experience with each employee was
different in the Decathlon store. Some of them are supportive by nature and few of them are not
good at communicating with others. The key situations of this situation are- motivation,
organization behaviour, organization culture, communication and team working.
So What-
I was feeling that in the retail store I have gain a lot of experience and this is good for my
carrier. In the initial time I was very truncation about my work and feeling but now I am feeling
that this job experience is valuable for me and it can further help me to develop my carrier more.
I have used many activities to improve my communication with collogues and consumers of
store. This activities were very effective for communication improvement. In my opinion there
are many outcomes of this experience. I have learned a lot of things from it. Some of the skills I
have learned from this job are problem solving and behaviour analysis. I have also developed
some technical skills with help of this job. Only thing troubles to me is work load. My
experiences are different form the subordinates in growth and reason behind this is- my learning
skills.
Now What?
I have found different implications of this job. I am considering as a life experience.
There are different alternatives can be used to avoid the problems of the work place
communication. This can be improved with cooperative working. I will, analyse the current
situation to develop a better plan to minimize the impact of work place pressure. If I will not
think about this it can increase pressure on me and it will reduce my capabilities. Next time I will
use a better plan to handle the situation. Al I need to know the details of my performance in
pressure condition and loop holes of plan that I have used. This information can be collected
form the Human resources of organization.
Part B
The influence of work problem at Decathlon was huge on my performance, behaviour
and experience. It has foster and hamper my experience, behaviour and behavious in different
ways. This was very crucial for me to face the issues related to the communication with the team

behaviour. My behaviour has been changes since I have start facing this issue. It helped me to
develop tendency to not panicking in situation like this. It helps me to stay in control in process
of handling particular problem associated to communication gap and work pressure. I also have
observed some changes in my behaviour with time. My performance has been improved since I
have start working in the Decathlon (Drewery, Nevison and Pretti, 2016). This was also very
good for my performance because the skills I have learned through experience are time
management and work management. This is how it helped me to improve my performance with
in time to control the over all situation. When it comes to experience this was very typical for
me. There were many ups and downs in this. My experience in Decathlon is good and it was very
helpful for me to improve my carrier. This is how my work experience was too good as store
assistance.
