1.Introduction
Pageaux (2014) opined that the enhancement of the rationality and logic styles an
individual supports the same in improving the capacity of rational decision making depending on
situations. In this relation, the research will examine my own decision making capacity through
the utilization of a variety of test results. On the other hand, the research will also present
feedbacks from my peers on my decision making capacity with the objective of examining the
recommended activities that might be administered by me.
2.Analyzing and evaluating my decision style
2.1Decision style results
The decision style test that was undertaken by me defined the different steps that I might
consider with the objective of enhancing the outcomes of the decisions. I scored 49 in the test
which was fair for a starter. However, I the test also produced a list of recommended activities
that I might consider with the objective of maintaining the efficiency of the decision making
process. I must take steps to evaluate the different alternative solutions and assess the risk
options with the objective of strengthening the decision making capacities. On the other hand,
the enhanced rate of risk identification and consequence examination would support me in
improving my decision making capacities in the long run.

2.2Gallup strengths results
The Gallup strengths test supported me in identifying my top five strength areas, which
would support me in enhancing my decision making process. My results reflected me as an
optimist, a focus expert, empathizer, commander and peace keeper. An optimistic behavior
supported me in developing the processes with the objective of inducing positivity in the
different activities. On the other hand, the optimistic mentality would also support me in looking
at the other side of the different risks and thereby confront the same with a positive mentality for
progression.

The focus expert related quality in my personality supports me in developing the
decisions through guiding the activities towards achieving the common goal. Being an focus
expert, the planning and decision making capacities are being enhanced through the effective
functioning of logical interpretation and cognitive skills. The skills off an empathizer assisted me
in developing an idea of the issues that might be encountered while implementing a decision on
the organizational operations. Therefore, an empathizer not only identifies the issues that are
being faced by the people but also looks out for potential solutions to mitigate the same (Beach
& Lipshitz, 2017). In this relation, the quality of an empathizer would support me in developing
an insight on the problems and resolve the same for the success of the decision making process.
The quality of the commander and the peace keeper goes hand in hand with the objective of

enhancing the decision making capacity relating to charismatic leadership. The leadership style
is influence the operations of the subordinates while mitigating the issues that are being
encountered by the same. Therefore, the top five strengths would support me in improving my
decision making capacity in the organizational context.
2.3Emotional intelligence results
The emotional intelligence tests supports in identifying logical, intuitive and balance
score potentials relating to the decision making process. I took the tests with the objective of
assessing my aptitude relating to logical reasoning. I received a high score of 3.67 in logical test,
which denoted that I prefer to identify and analyze problems in a logical manner to strengthen
the decisions that are undertaken me. Therefore, the logical reasoning would support me in
identifying the different proportions and activities that might be considered for the enhanced
decision making.

The intuition test that was commenced by me reflected that I generally trust on my
guesses and assumptions while making a decision. I scored 3 in the intuition test which reflected
that I have a mediocre capability of assuming the different elements and aspects while making a

making a decision supports the same in enhancing the rate of operations. Therefore, the mediocre

I have a strong interest in identifying the implications of the decision on the people which
is reflected through the balanced score where I scored 4. The delineation of the different
implications and the manner in which the decisions influence people would support me in
improving the rate of logical inclusions.
2.4Personality results
I received the personality type as an adventurer (ISFP-T) while undertaking the 16
personality test. The role off an observant and empathetic nature is being reflected through the
results of the test which signifies that I observe people and make decisions while placing myself
in the position of the situation. On the other hand, the lack of efficiency communication has
introverted me resulting to restriction in the informed decision making capacities.

2.5Feedback on my decision styles
I consulted with one of my managers, a colleague and my father on my decision making
styles and all of them were of the opinion that I should develop my communicability. My boss
opined that better communication would support me in gathering significant information from
different sources before taking a decision. On the other hand, my father asked me to develop
capacity of analysis off different situations while taking a decision. However, my colleague

believed that I took logical decisions all the way and I need little repairs to fix my decision
making capacities.
2.6Theories of decision styles
Rational decision making theory is associated with the activities relating to the
delineation of a set of alternatives that might be considered in a given situation (de Melo et al.,
2014). The model based on the theory focuses on guiding an individual in choosing the best
suited alternative in respect with the situation. The theory constitutes of a logical understanding
of the likelihood for risks and their consequences on the overall situation (Groeneveld et al.,
2017). Therefore, the rational decision making system supports an individual in enhancing the
rate of decisions in alignment with the needs of the situation.
3.Conclusion
Therefore, from the above analysis it might be noted that the decision making capacities
of the individuals are reliant on the personality and the cognitive skills off an individual. On the
other hand, the assessment of the decision making criterion that is being followed by the people
supports in enhancing the rate of self actualization while identifying the strengths and
weaknesses in the personality constructs.
