Introduction
The role of decision making holds an integral part in aligning the appropriate formation
of the operations for the deployment of the functions. The decision making is very helpful for
aligning the appropriate and successive formation of the alignment methods (Heyler et al., 2016).
We were able to understand the application of the decision making and apply it for our decision
making situation. The support and integration of the decision making would allow the formation
of the improvement of the operations. The decision making had been classified in two types
namely individual and team decision (Azadnia, Saman & Wong, 2015). When a sole person is
responsible for making the decisions, it is termed as individual decision. However, if all
members of the team have a role in taking the decision or equal right for decision making, it is
termed team decision.
The following assignment is made for analysing the case study of Renovation of Central
Library and applying effective decision making process for the scenario of introduction of kids
section in the organization. The decision for the renovation of the central library and application
of the kids section is helpful for the deployment of the improved operations. The various
decision taking models are helpful for aligning with the formation of the supplementary
development of the improved operations. The assignment is divided into three parts namely
analysis of situation for decision making, decision making practices, and application of decision
making practice to the scenario selected.
1. Analysis of Situation for Decision Making
Our project of Renovation of Central Library was based on use of technology and
construction project management principles so that we could renovate the library in a more

convenient form. The renovation would also allow the formation of the activities that are capable
for listing the modification of the successive integration model. The deployment of the activities
is aligned for the modification of the improved functional analysis. The decision making is
helpful for aligning with the operational development of the activities (Heyler et al., 2016). The
organization is largely helpful for considering the magnitude of the improved development
models. The supportive and inclusive development had helped in forming the combination of the
operational development. We have to take many decisions while carrying out the project of
renovation of the central library. Our first consideration for which we had to make decision was
whether we needed to upgrade our computers. It was an evident for us that if we want to improve
our communication, data storage management, and stock management we have to upgrade our
computers (Azadnia, Saman & Wong, 2015). Similarly, we have to take many other decisions
such as which new books do we need to introduce, what new furniture should be bring for better
infrastructure, kids section should be applied or not, and what other appliances do we need to
add. All these decisions must be taken for ensuring that the right amount of operations is taken
place. The involvement of the function is aligned for listing the development of the supportive
and effective deployment of the operations (Block et al., 2016). The decision taking situation that
we need to consider is the probability of introduction of the kids section.
2. Decision Making Practices
According to Barr (2014), there are several practices that one must abide for taking
effective decisions in the project. The decision makings are helpful for ensuring that all the
factors are analysed before taking any individual step for decision making process. The decision
making is helpful for carrying out the operations and align the improved communication in the
organization. These several practices have been in use and they have been implied for improved

communication management. The decision making processes are applied for the formation of the
improved communication and management. The study of literature by Conrado et al. (2016) had
helped us in understanding the concept of decision making for the alignment of the operations.
The decision that we need to take must be clearly defined by the alignment of the successive and
intrigued development model. The improved decision making is helpful for forming the
development of the successive management process.
Schapira et al. (2016), have pointed out that the integration of the operations is helpful for
listing the management of the activities and aligning the formation of the decision criteria. The
viability of the decision criteria is helpful for setting specific decision making approach for the
deployment of the improved functional analysis. The preparation of the operations is helpful for
the deployment of the improved system development. According to Snyder and Diesing (2015),
the preparation of the functions are aligned with the effective decision making process
(unilateral, consultant, team agreement, expert, or consensus). The sharing of the information is
aligned with the deployment of the operations for the consideration of the successful integration
operations. The facilitation of the navigation for the deployment of the decision is also required.
As stated by Azar, Bouaynaya and Polikar, (2015), the practice involves the formation of the
analysis of the enterprise and getting to know about the operations. The acknowledgement of the
enterprise operations are helpful for settling with the formation of the supportive deployment of
the improvement of the operations. The inclusion of the operations is deployed for the formation
of the inclusion methods (Karimi, Papamichail & Holland, 2015). We need to keep up with our
commitments for developing the operations for effective renovation of the central library.

3. Application of Decision Making Practice to the Scenario Selected
The key decision making practices are defining the decision to be taken, establishment of
the decision criteria, determination of the specific decision making process (unilateral,
consultant, team agreement, expert, or consensus), preparation for the process, and navigation to
the achievement of the decision (Snyder & Diesing, 2015). We applied the same process for
taking the decision for the development of the decision making process. The decision making is
helpful for the formation of the improved functional operations. The key decision making is
helpful for carrying out the analysis of the key decision making process. The decision making is
helpful for listing the management of the success deployment and analysis. The key decision
making is helpful for implying the alignment of the decision making (Droutman, Bechara &
Read, 2015). We at first analysed the scenario of introduction of the kids section in central
library. It helped us to form the understanding of the key decision making process. The analysis
had helped in understanding the deployment of the successive and intrigued development model.
After this, we shift to the next activity of establishing criteria for decision making. The
criteria developed in helpful for aligning the formation of the decision for the introduction of the
kids section. We analysed the situation and came forward with the main criteria for analysis of
the scenario for renovation. The involvement of the functions is aligned for listing the
development of the supportive and effective deployment of the operations (Pettigrew, 2014). The
decision taking situation that we need to consider was the probability of introduction of the kids
section and hence, we had to form the consideration for the deployment of the successive and
intrigued action development. We selected the process of team agreement for taking the decision
of the project. However, we needed to integrate the deployment of the operations for decision
making with the help of practices. The preparation of the process is helpful for analysing the

existing information and developing a sound practice for the final project deliverable. The
practical application of the theory would consume some amount of the improved analysis
method. The acknowledgement of the enterprise operations are helpful for settling with the
formation of the supportive deployment of the improvement of the operations (Alarcon et al.,
2014). We need to keep up with our commitments for developing the operations for effective
renovation of the central library.
Conclusion
It can be concluded from the report that decision making is a very crucial factor for the
completion of the project. Our project of renovation of the central library is helpful for the
formation of the successive and intrigued development factor. The alignment of the operations
had helped in forming the successive consideration of the intrigued deployment model. The
study of the various practices in decision making had considered the formation of the appropriate
decision for the introduction of the kids section. The effective decision making had been implied
for our project of renovation of the building. The building development had been successful for
carving the management of the simple and yet effective operation. The analysis had helped us to
realize the various practices that are helpful for making right decisions during the project and
they are defining the decision to be taken, establishment of the decision criteria, determination of
the specific decision making process (unilateral, consultant, team agreement, expert, or
consensus), preparation for the process, and navigation to the achievement of the decision. The
deployment of the operations was carried on for listing the project operations for renovation of
the central library.
