Introduction
The aim of the paper is to conduct a decision in terms of the press release in order to
maintain the responsibility as well as the honesty in terms of sharing the information with the
customers in terms of the airlines services as extended towards them. The dilemma was
regarding the fact whether the discloser would provide added benefits to the customers as
well as exhibit their compliance to the security of the customers. In this paper, the concern
would be to carry forward with the discussion ethical consideration in terms of the airlines
service and need for the organization to ensure the satisfaction of the customers in the
business venture.
Situational analysis
The situation that has been concerned in the given course of the incident involved the
dilemma of the concerned authority in the airlines in releasing the information regarding the
collapsing of the one of the pilot when the plane was in the air. The situation had several
downfall. The various opinion that came up in the course of the discussion was multifarious
in its outcome. It included the opinion that the opening up the passengers to the potential
danger that the customers had passed through would let them draw off from availing the
service of the particular. However, the popular opinion involved the opinion that suggested
that the situation should be let to pass off until it is evoked again. Another problem that was
evident in the situation was that the was that once the press release had been made the
information would be available to under the law of the open record.
Ethical decision-making
The impact of the ethics should be given importance while dealing with the several
activities pertaining to the aviation. However, in terms of the business world the implication

of the business world in noted in the fact that the it allows the better decision making in the
process. Ethical consideration in the decision aiming also ensures that the rights of the
stakeholders has been safeguarded in course of the decision that has been taken. With the
changes in the world business scenario, there has been changes in the way people are
perceiving the business and the people who are associated with the business. Ethical decision
making at times changes the legislation that are associated with in the process of the decision
making as well as the business process (Craft, 2013).
The factors of the ethical decision-making that needs to be considered in the course of
the discussion should include the factors of the confidentiality, privacy, honesty and fairness
(Minus, 2013). The factors had been reflected in the response of the many people who have
considered the fact that the honesty should be considered while dealing with the fact that
honesty should be maintained in dealing with the corporate social responsibilities of the
organization as well as dealing with the ethical guidelines that the organization should adhere
to. The factors that might inhibit by the creation of the guilt and the intervention from the self
interest disrupting the process of ethical adherence.
Security and Safety in airlines
Security and the safety are two different factors when it comes to the consideration of
the fact from the perspective of the airlines. While security is more concerned with the
protection of the passengers and the resources of the airlines from the terrorists and the
criminal forces. The safety of the passengers are mostly concerned with the well-being of the
customers in their journey. As such, the protection in the aviation is related to the safety of
the customers where by the airlines authority tend to extend their protection in terms of the
errors, unintentional defects that might have caused in the way of the construction, operation
of the aircrafts and design related factors (Oster Jr, Strong & Zorn, 2013).

The case that has been concerned in the course of the discussion has been a case of accidental
and unintentional fault that had occurred. The degradation of the health of one pilot was
accidental and the incident was unintentional. However, the lives of the passengers that had
been on the stake had been saved by the steady intervention of the pilot who had taken up the
situation with the presence of his mind. The situation was unavoidable (Tai & Chuang, 2014).
However, by declaring the information about the incident the organization would be
able to adhere to the responsibilities that they uphold towards their customers. The corporate
social responsibility of the organizations to the customer. The effective customer and the
organization is established when there is a transparency in the communication. However,
though the risk related to the negative publicity cannot be denied, it needs to be realized that
the negative publicity can be utilized in order to establish the transparency of the brand and
the care that has been taken towards safety of the customers. It would also allow the
organization to establish an image of the brand in the light that presence of mind that has
been uphold by the employees of the organization and the care that has been taken towards
safety of the customers have been prioritized.
Recommendations
Thus in this case the action that can be recommended should include the press release
and the disclosure of the entirety of the incident. The disclosure should also include the fact
that the actions and the dispositions that has been established by the members of the
organization in enhancing the responsibility of the firm towards the safety and security of the
customers

ethical aspect of the decision making and the concern for the security and the safety of the
customers. The exhibition of the corporate social responsibility and the care that has been

customers by elucidating the steps that has been taken by them while caring for the process.
