INTRODUCTION
 Academic and professional skills are one of those abilities and habits of individuals can
help them in order to succeed and grow in their personal and professional life.

Identifying the problem of deforestation
 Deforestation is one of major problems for the environment due to depletion of forest
areas all around the world by increasing urbanization, mining activities and pollution in
these areas.

Cause of deforestation
 There may be multiple factors which causes deforestation and are the main reason for
loss of habitat a lot of trees and animals in the world. They are:
 Agriculture is one of the primary contributor in deforestation in order to grow food, bio
fuels and fibres and all other crops it requires cutting of a large amount of trees and
clearing forests.

Potential solutions to deforestation
 The problem of deforestation may be solved by applying various practices which can
be beneficial in improving the current condition. They are:
 Green business activities may be adopted by organizations in order to recycle and reuse
the resources to decrease deforestation in the world.
 Strict laws and regulations may be applied by different governments on the people and
organizations who are related in deforestation activities to reduce its negative impact on
the environment.

Strengths and Weaknesses of the solution
 Strengths
 These practices may be beneficial in resolving the problem of deforestation as it can have a
positive impact in reducing the ecological imbalance in the nature.
 It may be a major strength for the environment as it may help in reducing the rising temperature
in the world and enhancing living conditions for living beings.
 Weaknesses
 The solutions may sometimes require use of plastic as for planting a new tree of saplings, plastic
tree guards are used which is not an eco-friendly process.
 Tree planting sites may not be properly maintained which my eventually result into trees dying
leading to deforestation.

CONCLUSION
 On the basis of the above presentation it has been concluded that the problem of
deforestation has been solved with the help of adopting various practices such as
reforestation, rules and regulations etc.
