Title – Conclusion to Delight Theatres
Author – Sai Teja Potluri
Author’s contact details –
Abstract
Aim: This report is focusing on providing the best solutions to the client for their problem
and requirements in their business. This is going to be accomplished by comparing the
developed interface with a similar app and concluding out best product.
Procedure: to accomplish the goal, the necessities of the client are listed and then by using
the heuristic principle, the design of interfaces are constructed and here those are compared
with several other interface design or competitors.
Results: The final interface that came out after all the studies and comparison is a product of
new technologies, innovative ideas and current interface design of other theatres.
Recommendations: Although the final interface is best according to the client and designers’
view in future, some technologies or new techniques could be added into it like advanced
booking of upcoming movies, intermission meal etc.
Introduction
Author Styliari, 2018, in title Cinema-going Trajectories in the Digital Age, states that
Cinema halls are an important part of movie booking platforms in which they entertain their
selves. Although it is a topic which is well known but regarding the business through cinema
halls, there aren’t a number of researches conducted that explains about increasing the
business in cinema hall industry. But now it looks like many cinema theatres have been
evolving the ways that can be beneficial in cinema hall business. For this, a proposed way can
be designing the interfaces (Styliari, 2018). Delight theatres app is developed by this
phenomenon that helps the client grow its business and also provide the customers with an
easy way to book tickets. Along with that, Author Atkočiūnas, 2016 in their article studies in
modern society states that using the interface of any business, the process and products of that
organisation can be understood more clearly and specifically. In modern society, everyone is
connected to network and instead of going to the organisation and asking about its products
they search for its mobile-based applications (Atkočiūnas, 2016). Hence, designing an
application for the Delight theatres was a great decision taken by the owner and fulfilling
their requirements in the Delight Theatre application is good for the customers and industry
as well.

What factors influenced my design, how they influenced it and why
Requirements of the user were very unique and considering to level up the current situation
of Delight Theatres. This influenced the designers and developers of to work with some new
thingsin-app user interface designing. Some unique requirements are like requiring parking
extension, re-printing the ticket of the customer and also giving access to the customer to
whether receive or not the offers on their device. Some restrictions like customer queues at
the ticket booking counter taking too much of time, time-consuming process of payment, not
being able to see all movies in theatres, reprinting ticket that made the designers develop a
new design of Delight Theatre application. To design the interfaces, various Heuristic
usability principles are used in all the screens of the design to make it essential. This
application won’t only help the customers to get faster delivery of their queries or orders but
also it will increase the business process and Delight theatre will be able to be a strong
competitor against many other similar theatres (Li, 2017).
