Overview
Within the business organisation, there are several challenges that are faced due to the
ineffective quality of leadership. Furthermore, communication of breakdown leads to create
issues among workforce to involve them with senior management. For this, the effective
application of democratic leadership is helpful for the leaders to make their leadership strategies
effective and also address communication issues that occur among the organisation.
Summary
Leader is an individual who have major abilities for effective guiding and leading other in
the company. Democratic leaders are those have potential to listen other and also give chances to
other in regarding of having better ideas and thoughts for the growth of company. This
leadership involve the ability and capacity for opting and enhancing things according to the new
idea and opinion given by their own employees (Day and Liu, 2018). It is considered as the
effective leadership style as it influences leaders to involve each and every member in the
decision making process of company and also weigh multiple variables at the workplace along
with opting effective leadership approach that files to achieve overall goals and circumstances.
Adherence of democratic leadership style is usful for leaders to guide and address the issues
which are related to the overall communication in the company. It also undertake the dynamic
leadership style which is important for the leaders to change their overall attitude and behaviour
in terms of addressing the situation in different manner by devisiong suitable decisions.
There are several challenges which are being faced within the sector. One of the major
issue which is being faced is communication and its overall breakdown among the senior
management to their junior staff (Williams, 2018). Furthermore, the shortage of effective
communication is the another challenge that puts business at risk and suitable goals which are
not achieved within the determined duration. Most of the time, lower level employees complain
that they are getting effective number of information regarding the tasks which are assigned to
them that can become major challenge for them.
Within an organisation, leaders leads to opt sevreral number of paths with the objective of
leading people in different manner. In terms of democratic leaders, one of the path is to permit
the horizontal communication in which the information is related with practice of the

achievement of objective that flows laterally include people at the same level of organisation
(Horlings, Roep and Wellbrock, 2018). With the effective involvement of junior staff in decision
making and participation in the meetings of company they could also help leaders to motivate,
inspire and direct others in different manner. Further, fostering the commitment of employees by
making them motivated and confident, leaders are able to develop their followers of team.
Conclusion
Leaders plays an important role in terms of motivating others to perform with full potential
with effective human relations. With the effective application of adequacte leadership approach,
it becomes easy to solve several issues that occur in the company. leaders also facilitate strong
communication that results in enhancing the productivity, involvement and participation of
employees in decision making.
Reflection
At the time of working the group presentation, I have learnet number of things that leads to
develop my knowledge and also inspire me for the future team work. We also decided to classify
the working as we had short period of time and lot of work to do including arranging data,
research and making final presentation (Brooks and Watson, 2019). Further, I got frustrated
when team members were not considering the norms and working as per their own that leads to
impact me to opt new working tools and techniques. There are several skills which I need to
enhance for future and effective team work. To enhance all of these skills, I need the time span
of 3 months.
