Employees of Household Refuse Services department will feel more motivated as the Director of
Household services invite them to share their views and ideas for creating a new strategy. This
will encourage them to do more work as by giving the opportunity of sharing their views and
ideas will motivate the employees more. According to Maslow's theory of hierarchy needs which
is a motivational theory in which Maslow states that humans need motivation in order to give
better performance (Ozguner, and Ozguner, 2014). Motivation is the key to the success of every
person. With the help of motivation, a person desire to work harder in order to achieve their
need. According to Maslow. Humans have various needs and their need will never get complete.
If they achieve their one need, then the other need will motivate them to work hard. These
various needs motivate a person to work hard in their life. In this scenario, an employee’s
motivation level gets an increase because they got the opportunity to share their views and ideas
with the higher Authority. They felt their importance in the group which motivates them more to
do the hard work. In any organization, every employee wants to give a contribution to the
success of the firm. It is the basic need of every employee who is part of an organization. In this
scenario, the participation of employees of the household department will motivate them in order
to give new effective ideas and strategies. Motivation is the main strength of this scenario.

motivating the employees. It states that efforts of the person get an increase if someone is
watching them. It also states that treating an employee in a good manner will increase the
productivity of the company. In this scenario, giving importance to the employees of household
refuse motivates them to do more extra efforts in order to produce more products in the
company. This theory also states that working in a group is more beneficial than working
individually. Working in a group means the success of the project depend on the efforts of every
employee and also employees will be dependent on each other (Cook, and Artino Jr, 2016). This
will encourage the employees more and it will enhance the performance of the employees which
is the bigger strength of this theory. In this scenario, managers, supervisors, and employees of
Household Refuse department are working together. Due to which they can share their various
views and ideas in order to accomplish their target. Working together will build trust towards
each other which will be more beneficial.
